Apparently he might come cheap. Pennies on the dollar. His dementia is getting worse so he might not be president from prison but president of the loonie bin. Oh wait he already is commander and chief of Loonie Ville.
Trump isnât the problem. The problem is the 75,000,000 people who voted for him. If Trump dies tomorrow, those 75,000,000 will still be here. Trump is a symptom of the disease, not the disease itself.
And the roots of that, IMO, are shitty education, entitlement, and religion.
Just seen reports that the Orange Scrotum is trying to tap Elon Musk for cash.
Elsewhere, I reacted to the news thus âŚ
Surely Musk has more savvy than to hand money to a shyster whoâs already been found to have defrauded actual banking institutions? And risk his own stature therewith by doing so?
Yes, itâs true that Musk is rich enough to hand Cheetolini $500 million as a gift, because to him, thatâs loose change. And, of course, he was rich enough to buy Twitter at an inflated price, then wreck it in a hissy fit. But thereâs a limit to how much even he can faff about like this without wanting payback (with guarantees, of course), and if heâs thinking of bankrolling a second TrumpenfĂźhrer presidency in order to use Omango-Tan as an ATM or lever to power himself in future, heâs going to get his fingers burned badly.
Its notable that now that Bezos has leapfrogged Musk in the race to be the worldâs first certified trillionaire, Bezos is keeping any political support he might be offering to anyone a closely guarded secret. Bezos is continuing the âMr Corporate and nothing elseâ act going pretty well, and wonât have trouble with any political ambitions of his own, because he has enough money not to need anyone elseâs. Indeed, as Iâve noted in the past, Bezos is rich enough to buy his own nuclear powered AND nuclear armed blue water navy, and become the first one-person superpower on the planet.
Plus, if Bezos sees a future politically adventurous Musk as any sort of threat, Bezos could clip Muskâs wings with ease.
Iâd bet dollars to donuts that the orange shit-gibbon has approached quite a few folks with hat in hand groveling and offering promises.
Iâd also bet that all those obscenely rich people in the U.S. do not want Biden or a Democrat legislature since that would likely result in them actually having to pay taxes.
But is being tied to an individual declared in court to be a massive financial fraudster, with the taint that implies, worth it to them? Or worth risking having him take them for a ride as well as everyone else in his disaster trail?
These people didnât become Ăźber-rich by handing largesse to con men. They may calculate that the taxes would be strategically cheaper than paying for a Trump dictatorship installing Americaâs first king.
Plus, the small armies of accountants these people keep on retainer, if theyâre doing their jobs properly, will tell said Ăźber-rich paymasters much the same thing.
Thereâs also the little matter of Trump deciding, if idiots give him a second term, that the usual gullible rubes among the poors wonât provide him with enough grift income, and start implementing âemergency powersâ to loot corporate bank accounts.
Indeed, if I can foresee this possibility, the Ăźber-rich should have done the same some time ago.
Thatâs before we factor in the very real possibility that his idea of âeconomic policyâ could send the US economy into a death spiral. If he triggers hyperinflation or some other terminal malaise, heâll have rich people right across the developed world clamouring for him to be hung, drawn and quartered.
Liz Truss had a tenure shorter than the shelf life of a lettuce when she tried Randianising the UK economy. Trump could find himself rubbing people up the wrong way, who settle their debts with a hangmanâs noose.
You mean hirelings with high powered automatic weapons?
In the case of Russia, Iâve described politics there as chess played with hand grenades. Omango-Tan wouldnât last five seconds in that environment. Anyone considering him a disposable rival there would quickly arrange for him to become part of a concrete bridge pillar in Vitebsk.
Americans tend to be less overt in this matter, at least in the case of the political class. Though inciting disposable plebs to unleash another mass shooting incident could become the tool of choice in some of the more rabid Christian Nationalist circles, all the better to provide a pretext for their long sought after Inquisition.
Though weâll probably see their own version of the Night of the Long Knives before they buckle down to firing up Kristallnacht Mark II.
The shitstorm just elevated to âhurricanes on Neptuneâ level:
Heâs basically staged a de facto Mob coup within the RNC, and turned it overnight into nothing more than another arm of Omango-Tan Grift Inc.
The good news is heâs gutted the one part of the GOP that contained actual competent people, and turned it into part of his crime syndicate.
The bad news is that this will lead to voter suppression being ramped up to Spinal Tap 11, and possibly a second insurrection attempt if he loses to Biden.
I think there is exactly 100% chance there will be another coup attempt.
Edited to add: and I think it will be better organized and far more lethal.
Not long ago, folks in the U.S. would ask, âAre we ready for a black President?â
Folks still ask if weâre ready for a woman President.
Folks are asking if weâre ready for a gay President.
It seems almost half of the U.S. has decided weâre ready for a rapist President.
The saddest part of this whole fiasco is that no matter what this orange idiot does, his base excuses it and doubles down on their support for him.
IMO, anyone who would vote for Trump is either ethically challenged, mentally ill, or both.
I couldnât agree more. Maga is a cult. It is no less a cult than any religion is.
They have the same blind spot for Trump that they have for god. If their god can wipe out practically every living thing on the planet and they just shrug and say âhe works in mysterious waysâ ignoring little things like trying to end democracy and rape is easy.
There are folks who identify as atheist who have voted and will vote for trump. This, IMO, indicates that while they can claim skepticism about the existence of gods, they do not use skepticism beyond that.
Edited to addâŚOR they have transferred their adoration of a god to adoration of trump. Either way, they seem to need a god of some sort.
COUGHâŚPSYCHOTICâŚCOUGH!!!

I have no axe to grind with any part of the political spectrum, though my own views are (slightly) left of centre, but he is entirely unsuited to (any) public office, but then again so were Nixon, Clinton, Reagan, to name but threeâŚ
Hereâs some interesting info. The chart indicates where each is ranked, by whom, and when.
Perhaps, but the jackass is uniquely unsuited to even the most basic of human functionsâŚ(imo)
The dangers and threats which resulted from the elections of the three examples are dwarfed by those as a consequence of the mere existence of the jackassâŚ
Any comparisons to anyone, fail miserably, due to the inhuman nature of the aberration referred to herein as âthe jackassâ.
And after years of bragging how rich he supposedly was, now Omango-Tan is pleading poverty in the NY State fraud trial:
Apparently it failed to occur to him, that this latest poverty plea merely reinforces the judgement against him in that case, that he overvalued his assets fraudulently. Heâs effectively handed the prosecution a slam dunk confession after the fact.
