Anyone but Palpatine obviously, as he got the SCOTUS to grant him immunity in perpetuity, so he can now commit any crime with impunity. Given he already had multiple felony convictions, itâs not easy to see how this will make him more law abiding, or what moral basis there is to object to any law being broken ever!!!

In Texas, it may soon be the booksellerânot just the bookâunder fire.
A new bill in the Texas Legislature, authored by Texas Rep. Nate Schatzline, would allow businesses to be held liable if a minor reports damages from a work deemed âobscene.â In addition to fees for damages, the penalties would include court costs and attorneysâ fees.
House Bill 1375 states that each âoccurrence of obscenity that harms a person, regardless of whether the occurrence is part of a pattern of conduct, gives rise to a separate claim for civil liability.â
This means that bookstores that sell works deemed âobsceneâ could face multiple lawsuits.

These laws HAVE occasionally backfired on the Bible, with its depiction of justifiable rape and talk of the size of male sex organs. But people promulgating such things are chronically irony-impaired.
