A FAFO list - add your own

The Onion is surely going to go out of business, because mainstream news is now printing stories just as ridiculous and silly as anything The Onion has printed–the only difference is that the stories in mainstream news aren’t made up.

But they left “Mein Kampf”.

Republican Governor candidate, “unmarried Catholic construction manager Kyle Langford,” suggests that women can just spread their legs if they want to stay in the U.S. What will the R-cretins suggest next, that all unmarried women above a certain age are required by law to marry, drawing names out of a Hat of Incels? Also for the dystopian future, the complete package: eradicate the concept of marital rape, totally ban abortions and contraception, ban no-fault divorces, and require all girls to attend Wife School.

They want women treated like chattel and have convinced a significant number of young men to buy into it. Then Vance whines about declining birth rates like he doesn’t understand where babies come from and women obviously aren’t buying into their misogynistic wet dream.

The New York Times published the following article this morning. It discusses, among other things, the return of Americans to churches and the persistence of spirituality. It has claims that religion makes people healthier, both physically and mentally, along with several others. The author also discusses how many who had previously given up religion are now returning to it. She seems to thing that all of the “nones” are those who were formerly religious and doesn’t seem to acknowledge that some of us never were believers. Mostly pap, but a it does have a few nuggets of interest to people here.

Donald Trump’s Easter message of love and unity:

Wharton, Fordham, and the New York Military Academy apparently avoid educating their attendees on the presidency of James Buchanan.

I’d be surprised if, in the future, these and other institutions avoid communicating that Don the Con has surpassed even that President for sheer terribleness, though.

That is, if the U.S. doesn’t descend into a one party, woman-debasing, anti intellectual Christian nationalist hellscape with Orange in a Mao Zedong style cult of personality position.

I really miss having a sane president.
On another note, am I the only one who didn’t realize Musk has at least 14 children and thinks he needs to populate the world with his superior genes? Another page from the Nazis. He seems to have forgotten that children can have his looks and her brains. Of course he’s probably delusional about his looks too.

Second verse….

What are the chances allied and friendly countries will continue feeding the US with highly classified and sensitive intelligence reports?

“As the Trump administration faces a flurry of lawsuits, Musk is desperately trying to discredit judges who rule against the president. He’s called for the impeachment of judges who tried to block the Department of Government Efficiency’s unlawful dismantling of federal agencies, offered people money to sign a petition against “activist judges,” and made dozens of ludicrous claims against his judicial enemies on social media.”

Almost 91 years ago, on April 24, 1934, Hitler established the People’s Courts, requiring judges to swear an oath of loyalty to the Nazis. This move granted the Nazi party greater influence over sentencing, particularly for political opponents and those deemed criminals. The People’s Courts effectively stripped judges of their independence, allowing the Nazis to control the legal system and persecute individuals deemed threats.

It seems that Palpatine and his stooge, are moving a little slower than Hitler, but inexorably in the same direction.

Wonder who will be the DOGE version of Roland Friesler?

Sadly there are no shortage of candidates. Palpatine got the ball rolling early, by upsetting the balance of the supreme court. It hardly needs saying at this point, but Palpatine hasn’t the slightest intention of letting the law stop him doing anything he wants. The next step is to make sure, that the law does precisely what he wants.

The irony of him lying about politically weaponizing the law, is of course palpable.

Another day our troops’ lives are endangered by his stupidity.

How much playing with national security fire will Congress tolerate before a major FAFO occurs?

It’s time for him to resign.

Not gonna happen. The Dunning-Kueger effect is strong with the orange tangerine. What needs to happen is for more people to be aware of how negatively affected they are and convince them to actively resist.

Zero. They already stopped.

You’d have to hope so. I may contact my MP, and demand answers.

They look forward to it?

This is what the shit gibbon was showing children at the annual White House Easter egg roll: (notice the sharpie? He was signing them!)
