Then, please tell me how there are people who are saying that the American government is controlled by people favouring religious politicians over politicians who are atheists. Because I have been told that there are people who never got to have positions of political power in the American government because they were atheists. How can America be truly secular that way?
The public education system in America has been in a crisis for many decades because America is oligarchically controlled by rich and powerful patriarchs who care about profit more letting their slaves have quality education, healthcare, livable wages when they have big families, etc.
America has been morally and intellectually depraved for many decades.
An increasing amount of Americans have become less humble, empathetic, compassionate, and civilised compared to average people from other developed countries.
The average American children are taught to become greedy, desensitised, unsatisfied, gullible, intellectually bullied, and sadistic consumers that glorify violence to benefit American military terrorism to help the American nazis create obedient cops and obedient soldiers that rob oil from the middle eastern countries by torturing, raping, and killing innocent people.
America is a country that bullies the African countries through “charities” that don’t help the African countries gain economic independence. That is why the African countries stay dependent, poor, unhealthy, less educated than other people from other countries, and stuck in unscientific cultures because they are too poor to afford quality education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. All of this is why there are African women, Syrian women, and other types of women who are refugees because of what the American “charities” and American military have done, especially with abusive international trade polices. Cut-throat American moguls are now dumping trash onto Kenyan soil instead of letting Kenya have room to economically thrive for example. Because America culturally has no soul. It turns an innocent child with potential to become really smart and kind into a greedy, sadistic, gullible, and obedient killer. There’s a plausible reason why America is known for way more crime, poverty, illiteracy, obesity, neglected children, and hatred than other developed countries. Because it is a sick country that has been poisoned by Pandora’s Box and the Americans have lost self-control after they opened Pandora’s Box, especially during the pandemic.
The smug elites that have very wealthy bank accounts from sneaky crime they committed through bribery and bribed thugs who are pedophiles, sociopaths, psychopaths, greedy pigs, etc. are living in their gated communities while they exploit their slaves with slave wages, poor education, increasingly expensive healthcare, increasingly divisive wealth gap, Hollywood propaganda, virtue signalling celebrities who are really sellouts to the immoral elites who support enslaved sweatshops from outsourcing, etc. They want the average Americans to wear low quality clothes from planned obsolescence, listen to low quality music from so-called music artists who are really sellouts that are designed to corrupt and dumb the youth down, have low quality education to make them become obedient workers rather than intellectuals through intellectual inequality between elites and slaves, get low quality healthcare from dishonest doctors who don’t solve the root of the problems of the Americans’ health unless they have enough money to bribe the doctors, watch low quality shows that have political correctness and Hollywoodised propaganda rather than pure comedy and intellectual depth, and other things.
It has been mathematically proven that Americans were happier, wealthier, healthier, freer, smarter, more humble, more compassionate, more social, and less hateful in previous generations. Now, America has an increased amount of obesity, depression, suicide rates, abusive businesses that abuse workers’ well-being, immoral greed, etc. It is clear to me that America is following the footsteps of the Roman Empire because of that. Which is why some people have considered themselves to be American refugees who fled America to go to more peaceful countries in Europe that have more people who have common sense. Because there has been an increasing amount of Americans lacking common sense because the American elites want them to be that way.
Also, the Europeans are walking on eggshells when they do international business with Americans because the Europeans are well-informed enough to know how psychologically unstable and sadistically violent the Americans are. Because the Europeans don’t want the Americans corrupting the European countries. Because there are more Europeans that are happy, wealthy, healthy, smart, humble, and nice than average Americans.
Because no matter one’s position or beliefs, there is one document that trumps everything else, the US Constitution. Politicians, police, military, judges, and all immigrants (maybe other professions too) must swear an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same”.
They take this VERY seriously. VERY.
And the First Amendment states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Politicians may attempt to work around it and use various excuses, but in the end, the Constitution always wins.

Are you sure? You appear to be confident in such remarks, yet display a lack of understanding on how powerful the US Constitution is in US politics. That one document drives US politics.
I am a bit taken aback on your assessment of my dear neighbors and friends to the south, and I suspect your opinion is poisoned by a narrow viewpoint and some propaganda.
I fully agree that the US does not have clean hands. But many of it’s citizens are good and moral people.

It is true that an atheist (known or identified) does not gain politically in the States, at least for the “highest” offices. Fortunately, (unlike skin color or gender)- simply “not identifying” may be the key AND there are those that do “not identify”. Whether a country is “secular” really is dependent upon “the people” (via law-makers/representatives) and “the system of law” (courts).
AND yes - there is a IMO a weird battle of fundieness going on in the States (Texas recent abortion law) between secular progress or “religious restoration”. In reading comments from many of the religious the idea of “restore” (their ideas of values, morals, work ethics, etc) appears foremost awash with memories of the “good ole days”. Likewise, comments from many progressives scare the shit out of conservative (not the political meaning but: “averse to change or innovation and holding traditional values”) minded folks. AND from my small, small, experience in implementing “change” (in the workplace) - NOBODY likes it 
- it takes time, care, and results to have people accept changes.
I do tire of the “USA is a young country” tripe - almost an excuse for irresponsible behaviour and a “hope” of it maturing and getting some of its shit together. HOWEVER how in the world do “we” determine “whether it has its shit together???” The system they’ve used (of the two party and no room for the others) has somehow gotten them here with the decades upon decades of animosity between them. Scientific advances, technological etc from the USA have benefited the world and their military might has kept the world a fairly peaceful place.
The gains made in the States have come with a portion of the population kicking and screaming! That portion had a “go” recently with tRump and 
unfortunately it’s fed the fires of “alternative reality and facts”…
NOW with that said, many of your comments are without full considerations and do offer only a sliver of many of the issues (ie African countries). European approach to “politics” etc etc etc AND a negative over generalization of “groups”…
Education? It is available NOW more than ever. A person has to want to learn. Enjoy learning. Access learning for themselves!

The constitution is secular, it specifically forbids any government from passing any laws in respect of religious beliefs. It both protects everyone’s right to believe anything they want, and their right not to compelled by any law regarding religion. So forcing children to pray in school, or people to pray at work, for example, is a violation of their constitutional rights, they can sue anyone passing such laws. That’s why creatards keep losing in court, when they try to force schools to teach archaic unevidenced creation myths as if they have parity with scientific facts and theories. Aa it a violation of the constitution.

I think that may be superficially true, along with the perception that the US sees itself as the world’s police force.
My view is that relations between nations are rarely if ever based on moral principle. The basis is almost always perceived self interest and almost always includes some kind of quid pro quo. In micro and macro practice, politics is based on one and only one principle: “The ends justify the means”***

Although I don’t quite share your extreme views of the US. (possibly because I’m Australian, not American) they are certainly not new or original.
If you haven’t seen it, I recommend “The United States Of Amnesia”. It’s a 2013 documentary about Gore Vidal, who was my favourite American public intellectual.
