In a court filing on Thursday, Ms. James noted that Knight was not registered to issue appeal bonds in New York, and so she demanded that the company or Mr. Trump’s lawyers file paperwork to “justify” the bond within 10 days. Ms. James is seeking to clarify whether Knight, which had never posted a similar court bond before aiding Mr. Trump, is financially capable of fulfilling its obligation to pay the $175 million if Mr. Trump defaults.
They released a statement they do not have to be registered in New York as their business is based out of State…LOL
It was shot down within minutes and Trumps mate who owns both the companies attempting to issue this bond could be in big trouble with the regulators and unless they come up with some quick legalities may even be facing fraud charges similar to those Trump has already been convicted!
This whole Trump shitshow is like watching a dozen clowns trying to stuff themselves into a Volkswagen. It would be funny if the stakes weren’t so dire.

It would have, if it wasn’t for Comey’s letter to Congress in late October. That, more than anything else, torpedoed Clinton’s chances and pushed Trump over the top.
My prediction is that there’s an 80% chance Trump’s trial will start as scheduled next week. All of his attempts to delay it have been shot down by the judge and the appeals court.
He is running out of options. He can sack his lawyers…but that is not grounds to delay in NY. The Judge just says…don’t care, and orders the lawyers to continue.
He can appeal to the Supreme Court and hope that his mates on the court will ignore that fact that these alleged offences occurred before he was President, and delay the trial until they hear the Immunity claim.
He can try t oappeal the Judges decision to not recuse…but that has already been shot down twice.
I think it’s about 50/50 right now.
Edited to add…if the defendant in any of the cases Trump is facing or has faced, were not rich, not famous, and / or not white, they would have been thrown in prison long ago.
I think that was the excuse a lot of folks used that didn’t want a woman to be president but wouldn’t admit it to themselves or others, despite the majority of voters who did opt to elect her.

Apparently, the shit-gibbon was falling asleep during the first day of his criminal trial. Yep, cuz being on trial is really boring.
He also violated the gag order prohibiting him from making inflammatory statements in public about people connected with the trial.
First he reposted a piece of garbage on his fifth-rate grift version of Farcebook - the one that’s tanking at the stock exchange - that was originally posted by one of his supporters who’s now in a jail cell. Then he compounded the matter by directly attacking the character of two likely witnesses in the trial.It’s possible that those statements constitute contempt of court, and a judge can send a defendant to prison indefinitely for that …
He’s done it multiple times and just gets away with it. Anyone else would have been in jail long ago. Well, anyone other than a rich white male.
indeed, he’s been given enough rope to stretch all the way from here to Mars and back, in a manner that wouldn’t happen to anyone else. Instead of having his “me, me, exquisite me” fantasies pandered to, he needs to be treated like the mobster he is.
Though it’s possible the judge may be waiting for a guilty verdict, after which he can go postal as much as he likes on the slimy piece of shit. The moment the words “convicted felon” become attached to him, he should be a free-fire zone.
SHOULD is the operative word. He should have been down for the count when he talked about grabbing women by the pussy. He should have been down for the count when he made fun of a disabled journalist. He should have been down for the count for a thousand things. That’s going to be difficult. Even though Manhattan is liberal, and the jury will reflect that, all it takes is one holdout juror to hang the jury and force a mistrial. If that happens, the retrial, if it happens at all, probably won’t happen before the November election.
