They use the space lizards because they work cheap! But Trump fought back! That is why he did all that crazy immigration stuff during his term. And why he had to be removed with a virus. That set aside… I’ve often wondered what the conversation would be if perhaps “the identifiers” were changed.
BLM storming the Capitol after Biden clearly repeats “the election was stolen” and there was “massive fraud”.
Patriots setting up in Portland.
BLM sitting in the State’s Capital building.
A Patriot getting pulled into a van by unidentified authorities while walking down the street.
I usually run these reverse identity scenarios through my imagination…

Imo this is not so much ‘an atheist forum’, but ‘a forum for atheists’. Properly worded post headings show the nature of a post.
Threads tend to meander off topic when folks become bored or irritated.
I have never seem this as a place to discus mainly atheism. Now that would bore me rigid and I doubt I’d bother hanging around.
We may rail against some of the dropkicks who find their way here. However, at the very least, they allow us to bask in the warm glow of smug superiority.

That’s not how I read it. My take is that may be the case when such comments are taken out of context as you did.
However, I am not calling you a racist, indeedly doodly not. I think you seem to be more an ignoramus suffering from cognitive dissonance. (look it up) This seems to be a virtually universal trait among Trump supporters.

That and insisting they’re Patriots, as if anyone who dares disagree with their view of how the US should be run is by default unpatriotic.
Why they think patriotism is so desirable a character trait isn’t ever made clear, after all it’s fair to say Hitler and Mussolini were extremely patriotic.
I think it’s better to focus on helping the people in a country, rather than making rhetorical appeals to how much you love your country. Also if they love it so much why are they so angry all the time? A cynic might point out they merely love their own political religious and ideological views, and are conflating an America they love, with an America that is run in a way they love, to the exclusion of everyone else’s views of course.
It’s also worth pointing out that nationalism and patriotism are quite different, though they are often mistaken by nationalists as the same thing.

Bunging the flag on a pole in one’s front yard is not a thing here. It happens, and I always look askance at the people who do it. To me one’s love of country is simply assumed. A very easy thing to do in Australia because we have so much to love. I do not see patriotism as a weapon, a way to bludgen others regardless who who they might be.
To be prideful of oneself because of an accident of birth (nationalism) is a gran faloon. I find its use to create divisiveness and to foment violence by goading people into rampant xenophobia sickening.
