Mike Lindell's Frank (social media site)

Religious morality at its finest. In a country known for decades for sex tourism and child prostitution, jail and expel one person for sitting on a statue of Buddha, and his friend for taking pictures.

Well it’s been 3 days. So far the website for Frank is just an embedded video.

I watched it for about 2 minutes. He is still making conspiracy claims about the very real voting companies that are suing him for past lies that damaged their business; by name!

ps: Now he is sounding like a TV minister. Referred to the Covid vaccine as the mark of the beast (he wasn’t clear if this was a certain brand of vaccine, or all of them).

Seems most of the Trump team lawyers model themselves after the Mad Cow infected Denny Crane.

IMO Denny Crane is one of the best comic grotesques of modern times. Easily the best thing William Shatner has ever done imo.

Favourite Denny Crane/Alan Shore moment:

Alan: ā€œDenny, aren’t you afraid you’ll died without ever having anyone really knowing you?ā€

Denny :" I don’t want anyone to really know me. I want them to know my version". I know exactly how he feels

I am currently rewatching the series on the local ā€˜catchup’ channel. I agree it’s the best role he was ever offered, the high-functioning sociopathic lawyer; a James Tiberius Kirk with Alzheimer’s. The term ā€œcomic grotesquesā€ is very apt.

Now he is saying this documentary (I guess he means the video that has been playing on his website, instead of an actual social media site) is more important than his social media project.

I guess that is why no one has been able to sign up in 4 days.

It appears the motto of ā€œover promise and under-deliverā€ is all the business ā€œsenseā€ some people use. However, when monetary gain is the goal…

It looks like some world class pranking is going on. Lindell even got pranked and thought he had Trump on the phone line, and called him our ā€œreal presidentā€. He says he’s under attack. I’m actually starting to have a tringe of pity. It looks like he’s descending further into madness and being nudged along. I’m picturing the next stop as the courtroom where the voting machine companies are suing him for libel and he gets chased around by sheriffs while he screams that god will get us all. If only the lies he’s spreading weren’t so dangerous, and he didn’t appear so mentally ill, it would be funny.

Sadly, this is a game played by both sides, of ā€œus versus THEMā€ mentality. Each side claims they have the correct answers, and that the other is wrong, and dragging their nation into ruin. It is a destructive position, with no compromise from either radical position. Carried forward, it may lead to civil war.

George Carlin was right about this:

I like George Carlin’s schtick. However, I think he also says some pretty stupid shit, such as reasons for not voting.

Seems to me that a significant factor in Donald Trump being elected was that around 40% of eligible voters couldn’t be arsed voting.

Voting is mandatory in Australia***, there’s a fine if you don’t vote and /or don’t register. The turnout is usually in the mid to high 90%. Impressive since the official goal of the Electoral Commission is to have 95% of eligible voters registered .

***to be pedantic; you are obliged to turn up and have your name crossed off the electoral list for your area.

@boomer47 I don’t know. I am starting to mistrust both political parties, as they are more in it for themselves, than for the American people. I used to dislike only Republicans, but now, if neither political party does what is best for the country as a whole, they lose my confidence.

That is what many Canadians do. They do not identify with any specific party of dogma, they just look for the candidate who has a decent track record and proposes the best solutions for problems.

Oh, I stopped trusting them in 1975.

Since that time, I have neve voted for a specific party. Nor do I vote for individuals. I vote against the most egregiously offensive bunch of mendacious incompetents on offer.

For me, voting comes down to ā€œit’s better to light a single candle than to curse the darkā€ (anon)

Sadly, for the last few election cycles my vote has been for the lesser of the evils.

Didn’t he claim he spent millions…you know, to allow ā€œfree speechā€ under this Satanic, control driven democracy??? Lol.

One good reason to NOT throw your hat in with the good ole’boys that couldn’t be bothered with ā€œhigher educmacationā€ - don’t worry though god has got this - it’s in his hands :raised_hands:

What a bunch of fucked up losers.

@David_Killens When I voted in the 2020 Presidential Elections, here in the US, I registered myself as having no political affiliation whatsoever, so I agree with what you say.

Now…please explain to me, why you Canadians are so f***ing smart. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@David_Killens For the USA, it would be a choice between Donald ā€œDotardā€ Trump, and ā€œSleepā€ Joe Biden (i.e., Beijing Biden). I find these nicknames absolutely hilarious,

Umm, we voted in this work of art.
