I am glad I still have mine. But for how long?

One article I read about this pointed out that there’s nothing to protect people from rain and wind. I thought this was just a metal framework for a giant tent or something but it is just to hold giant klieg lights. So it’s really just a lightning attractor. If there’s lightning anywhere near it during the performance people will have to be evacuated … someplace, probably outside the security perimeter, so as to escape the Electric Dome of Death.
Parallels were then drawn to Fyre Festival, where most of the musical acts also pulled out, and people had no place to stay, no food, etc. It’s a clusterfuck waiting to happen.
As much as I’d love for a few hundred MAGAts to be taken out by lightning, that wouldn’t happen. The metal structure, if hit by lightning, will conduct it to the ground away from the MAGAts sitting under it. It’ll act like a protective shield.
Yeah but ordinarily a promoter would shut down a situation like that out of an abundance of caution. Maybe no one would actually be hurt, but it would sure be intimidating. There might be a panic or stampede. And people will want to get out from under heavy rain and winds even without lightning.
There’s likely no provision for a backup plan or evacuation point; people would end up leaving the security perimeter and having to go back through it after the all-clear is issued. This doesn’t seem like a recipe for a successful event.
But maybe just this once they have real pros in charge of this, IDK. Nah!
In a study of dementia patients at a specialized center, 9.3% were found to be hypersexual, with higher association to male sex, frontotemporal dementia, and substance use. This data is published in the American Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease & Other Dementias. Read the study on PubMed. [1, 2]
Just saying the unspoken part out loud… It seems…sort of Mishkinesque…
