I tried the pill form of this medication (Rybelsus) and it gave me ungovernable heartburn, probably because it slows down digestion including emptying of the stomach. Fortunately I found a different medication that worked well for a time. Now I’ve been considering the injected form to see if I tolerate it better because the next stop is probably insulin. Oh well.
