Are all religions, just global cults?

Some people say, this means that the theorie of the multiverse is true.

True! He could be one of those “magician” guys, like Criss Angel :innocent: or these guys…

So I’d probably “keep walking” if I didn’t see a car, I mean, a car can’t move in the air and stuff.

Yah. Paper :memo: sometimes helps. I read a lot of ideas on paper. Then I think  “that’s great!” or “I like this” OR ugh “I don’t like that”. The stuff I read on paper that helps me with the things you mentioned don’t say “God says”… but sometimes it does then I go back to *”sure! That’s what YOU say…” (The Mormons don’t like that)

Just for language sake …

Rigid: means “ unable to bend or be forced out of shape; not flexible.”

Balance: means “ an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.”

Now a something isn’t alive - BUT a person is sooo we are constantly bending and being flexible and shifting our weight …

The two words above contradict each other.

Rigid things have no ability to stay balanced.

Yah…I could see that.

It’s pretty vague.

I took it as maybe planets and moons and that.

Some maybe take it as other communities on earth that didn’t experience a flood at that time - you know “worlds” (of people). I use to call people who didn’t think like me “worldly”.

People are always guessing.

The story of Noah is not in one place in Quran, in every chapter (if)god tell us a bit of the stories according to what he needs to tell in each context, the story is this (go check it out if you want): Noah had a son, who knew the truth about God, he was convinced, but he didn’t want to believe.
Noah felt sorry for him and asked God to forgive his sin, God answered by saying, don’t asking what you don’t know. if you do I promise you will be one of the ignorants. This is the kind of question that you should not ask.

Allah replied, “O Noah! He is certainly not of your family—he was entirely of unrighteous conduct. So do not ask Me about what you have no knowledge of! I warn you so you do not fall into ignorance.”
Quran chapter 11 verse 46

sometimes you need to be rigid and sometimes you need to be in balanced. anyway this is relatively subjective.

I read that part. I took pictures and everything. Took my time and read context. My questions throughout the various posts we’ve talked about were about some of this. And other areas of (if) god.

See - it says he (the son was convinced). I’m not. I’m not even sure that this son was “convinced” - were kids “convinced”? You know, the kids that drowned. Weird. But maybe this guy was, “who knows?”

Hey!!! (If) god didn’t make money or invent it! That’s a big claim! Don’t go giving credit to your (if) god FOR something he didn’t do!

RE: n the case of God, since he’s God, he gave you everything even the 100$ you’re gonna give him lol, you example make no sense,

Then LET HIM do my fucking dishes!!! That’d be pretty convincing.

To understand where money came from - you have to start going waaaayyyyy back… where I live we have our own “early history” but I went with these guys first.

I hope you like human history.

What is the point here? since he’s (if)god, he gave you your hands. your brain, and everything to do your dishes. if he does the dishes too. what is your existence for then ?!

That is quran too. chapter 27 verse 13 and 14
i’m not giving anything, even if it’s not in the quran, it’s abvious that God has the best morals, he would not be unjust to anybody.

If you built a robot, and then the robot created something called money. who should be called the one who created money? is it you or the robot?
the robot does nothing other than what you built him for. you did all the work. the robot did nothing. if the robot said I did this. it’s because of an illusion you put it in him.

If you said. why then god put us in hell. i will not answer because i told you before.

HOLY!!! Do you have any “sex” education? (If) god didn’t give me anything! My female mom and my male dad “copulated” and his sperm (out of millions) found its way to my mom’s egg (it happened to drop that month and sit there at that time). That’s how I got here! Pure “chance”. Well, and some lust (hahahaha - still don’t like picturing “it”).

My “existence” (purpose of???) is for me to decide. I landed up here, so now it’s up to me to decide my life. My value. My values (ethical/moral). Give my life “meaning”. Then I’ll be gone.

My time is my most valued and cherished “possession”. You’re lucky I’m sharing some of it with you

WOW :flushed: that’s some crazy robot :robot:. Does it have AI? (Artificial intelligence). Did I “program” it to invent money or did this quality of inventing emerge from the robot itself? Do I want credit for something the robot does? Why? Why do I care … it’s just a fucking robot doing everything I tell it to! I can destroy it anytime I want and I don’t have to tell it anything AND it won’t “know” unless I program it…

Hey! :bulb:. I’m going to program it with pain and have some fun!!!

Why are you folks encouraging this dweeb? Inane assertions and absolute BS piled high on BS… Hell… I can smell the BS in the other forums it’s so strong.

Nogba, what are your personal opinions on the prophet Muhammad?

Would you say he is the man all Muslims should aspire to be, and should follow his example?

For Christians and Jews, the story of Noah is found in the book of Genesis.

At the Catholic school I attended we were taught that Genesis is mean to be allegorical, not literal.

There is no concrete evidence that there was ever a world flood. However, many societies have flood myths. That fact does not demonstrate they are all about the same flood. The simplest explanation I can think of is: In ancient times few people had any idea of geography or the size of the earth. So, there’s a flood. They climb to the top of their tallest building or mountain. All they can see to the horizon is water. So hey conclude the entire earth is flooded. Not an unreasonable conclusion in context, just wrong

One minor point: IF there had been a global flood, the ocean would have been seriously desalinated and all the fish we use for food would have died.

The Torah is the mythology of Judaism. The New Testament is the mythology of Christianity and the Quran is the mythology of Islam. IE they are all made up, not real, untrue, fantasy and or lies. Inspired by human imagination not divine intervention…

This atheist does not believe in gods due the absence of empirical evidence. This means I do not believe in any claims made about god or anything supernatural (such as angels) for the same reason. That includes claims of divinely inspired books and behaviour.

NOW I make no claims to know and concede I might me mistaken.

That I disbelieve has never been a choice for me. Rather it is the inevitable conclusion after a lifetime of looking for metaphysical truths of all kinds. So far I’ve found none. Nor have run across anyone who has ben able to demonstrate the truths of any god claims.

Nogba, you seem like a decent bloke. Sadly, you have provided no new information or insight.
As hard as you may find to believe most of our members are not ignorant ,stupid or anywhere as bloody minded as the average believer who comes here.
