Laying here bored silly while some viruses and all their friends are throwing a rave in my mucous membranes. Tired of reading. Anyone have any suggestions for anything good for binge-watch streaming?

We’ve recently binged Black Mirror and Derry Girls on Netflix. Kind of older material at this point but worth the watch.

Just finished Foundation, which was like the books in name only, but still quite good. The acting was superb.

Black Mirror, Season 2, Episode 2 (“White Bear”).
That one blew my mind. Made a big impression on me, so much that I remembered the name/episode number. For anyone who doesn’t know, the show is kind of like the Twilight Zone, in that every episode is unrelated to the previous episodes (so you can watch them in any order, as each episode has different actors/characters/etc and there is no running story).

Derry Girls is hilarious, if you like comedy I’ve been watching celebrity countdown on YouTube, it’s the highlights, and it is hilarious. Just re-watched Mindhunter on Netflix, about the start of the behavioural science dept in the FBI, very good. If you need some much need testosterone, try Yellowstone, again on Netflix, by season 2 it felt like I was wearing a testosterone patch, but I enjoyed it. A good film is Heretic, with Hugh Grant, he’s outstanding in it I thought. Godless on Netflix, awesome, also American Primeval again on Netflix.
A word of warning you might get a little PTSD from the last two.

The Frankenstein Chronicles is excellent. There are 2 season’s available, but a third was never produced. Taboo is another short lived but excellent British series that deserved to be continued.
If you enjoy Korean series, I can suggest a series I enjoyed: “The Glory”. This is a psychological drama about a woman who makes it her life goal to seek revenge on the group of high school classmates who tormented her.

Dragon Ball Z is always a good watch if you’re into Japanese Anime shows.
Have you watched Squid Games on Netflix? It’s Korean, but you can either have it dubbed in English or with subtitles, it’s pretty good.

Avenue 5 was really good, but it was cancelled after 2 seasons.
Vikings Valhalla is really good. It’s on Netflix.

I like British crime drama, especially some of the long running series, such as The Bill and Silent Witness. The changes over the years in cast and focus is interesting to watch.
Morse and Endeavour are still worth the watch, I am re-watching The Tudors, on Amazon prime, it’s as good as I remember.
I’ve watched it a couple of times. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is great eye candy but the series is such bad history…
