You have bigger balls than I do. I just don’t like how you’re treated. I think we have a few things in common. I’m very open about being an Atheist and have 2 pentagram tats & pal skin as I barely go outdoors but I can’t wear goth clothes to work around my family. It’s a dealership and most of the customers are xtian. You may see my predicament. Oh well. Live long and free my friend
Negative there homeslice, don’t tell me how to interpret Satan. If god created rapists, murders, and other degenerates, and allows them to live, survive, and thrive, then I cannot say god is “good”. So I must question IF such a being as Satan exists, is the bible just god’s propaganda against him? I find god very self obsessed, and I think I agree with rebelling against him. I don’t think Satan is fairly represented, until he writes a book from his view point, I’m ok with Satan. Guess it’s all in your interpretation.
Bible says God creates good and evil and wicked people. In book of Job, Satan works for him to destroy the most righteous guy around as a test
Seems like I should pity Satan then for being manipulated by a dick.
Bible also says your god endorses rape, incest, mysogny, murder, genocide, homophobia, and according to the book of Isaiah is responsible for everything both good and evil. Yeah…you worship an evil piece of shit tyrant.
That’s from like 3,500+ years ago in a more primitive time. New Testament is 2000 years old but much more progressive.
As an atheist the bible is worthless to me. My opinions are formed by real world observations, while yours are obviously attempting to fit (or discard) reality into your bible.
Who cares. Your religion is in the minority. In about 25 or more years your religion is going to be up there with the Nazis, Fascism, and white supremacy seeing as it also endorses slavery. It’s been going in that direction for a while. Christianity is a symbol of hate. Mark my words.
It already is to a lot of younger generation. It is expected because Bible says there has to be a falling away before end times happens and that is already happening.
Christianity isn’t a symbol of hate though,
It is actually about love though there are a lot of followers that are toxins and judgemental (Jesus said not to judge). Being pro abortion will look bad in retrospect I think.
It is strange how so many of the younger generation rail against Christians for not wanting to bake a cake but don’t care to criticize Islam for its harsh treatment of gays and lower status for women. That doesn’t make much sense
lol who are you kidding? The bible is not and has never been Pro Life. It’s all about death. You lot can’t redefine your religion when your holy book is all about death threats and destruction.
The end times? Well Greek & Norse mythology predicted that people would quit worshipping those gods and described it as the end times. Almost every religion does this. It’s not the end times for us. It’s the end times for a religion. You do well to remember that.
As for Islam. You Xtians are hypocrites. You and the Muslims both are calling the kettle black. Both of your religions are not about love. It’s riddled with immoral bullshit and you know it. You’re just parroting church bullshit about love and peace and thats a big fat lie. You guys would love to see gays, non believers, and women lose their rights in favor of your beliefs. Don’t play games with me. I grew up having the church system shove the same shit down my throat.
Strange how the younger generation harps on you xtian bigots but they leave the Muslims alone?
The younger generation isn’t being persecuted, shamed, or forcefully indoctrinated by Muslims in the United States. You Christians are the threat that they are addressing. Funny how you guys cry and whine when you can’t get people to believe in your bullshit.
Funny how you all whine when you’re on the wrong end of things and dishonesty play the victim. Did you really think that I would feel sorry for your cult? You thought wrong. You guys are losing and you don’t like it.
It’s time to grow up and quit believing in fairy tales, boy. Leave that nonsense at home in the closet where it belongs. You Xtians had your time. Now it’s someone else’s turn.
Once again, a bullshit assertion that can easily be proven wrong.
Extreme poverty has fallen
Hunger is falling
Child labor is on the decline
People in developed countries have more leisure time
The share of income spent on food has plummeted in the US
Life expectancy is rising
Child mortality is down
Death in childbirth is rarer
People have been getting taller for centuries
More people have access to malaria bednets
Guinea worm is almost eradicated
Teen births in the US are down
Smoking is down, too
In the long term, homicide rates have fallen dramatically
More people are going to school for longer
Your problem is that you know that religion is slowing it’s grasp on society, and for your blood ritual doomsday religion, it sucks to be you. Religion loses it’s hold if you can not proclaim all is going wrong and only religion will save you and society.
FYI, the kids are doing just fine. Of course there will be jerk kids that make the headlines. Those are the ones you focus on and project all youth as wayward.
Bully > coward > victim.
Falling away just means people stop believing. Thus the growth in atheism. I just said I’m actually happy about this because it would be exciting to live in the “last generation”
After that it says there will be birth pangs of messianic era including war, famine, plague, etc.
Have you heard of agenda 2030 aka agenda 21 by United Nations where a depopulation is planned? Or the “great reset”?
If the next Covid round is serious, that could be used to advance mark of the beast. People are already being required to have vaccine paperwork to work and travel. This could be the mark and is already developed, an invisible tattoo showing your medical identification records only visible under UV light using luciferase so we would be marked like livestock (a beast):
Yes I do, and I already know what laveyan satanism is, your grasp of language is inadequate for you to understand that my point was correct, but then that was clear some time ago.
No they’re not, go and educate yourself beyond the hysterical duplicity of religious bigotry, if indeed you can.
Gullible I can sympathise with, it’s the creeping grandiloquence of his assumptions about what others know that’s starting to grate a little. @Sid is more and more obviously a troll for anyone to see, but I’ve been cutting @NagaMorningstar some slack. For now anyway.
An Alex Jones Fanboi…excuse me while I vomit.
It doesn’t matter, atheism has nothing to do with Satanism per se, as you said yourself they (Satanists) can either believe in a deity or not, though the myth obviously derives its narrative from theism, so there is a causal connection there. As @MrDawn correctly points out, and as I have tried to explain, atheists in parts of the US are using religious (mainly Christian) extremism against those peddling it, to try and stop them trampling over people’s constitutional rights. Its hard to claim religion has specific rights, then deny them to a recognised religious group, it’s not hard to understand really, well not for most people.
Yes religions and theists can be nuts, or did you have another point? I mean your bible endorses human sacrifices in any number of ways, over and over, both overtly and indirectly. You yourself implied your main misgivings at killing a child in a sacrifice to a deity’s specific instructions you were sure came from a deity, was being caught by police. Not very reassuring.
There is no such thing as an unborn baby, abortions involve a foetus, and in the vast majority of cases a zygote or blastocyst, nothing but a clump of insentient cells. Besides your biblical deity is depicted as a global mass murderer, it even (according to the bible) tortured a newborn baby to death, just because it was angry the parents had conceived it out of wedlock. so your moral outrage for an insentient clump of cells is just bizarre, it’s the usual bs theists trot out to try and control people’s lives.
Nope, that’s just your fetid imagination, or you’re being dishonest.
Literally couldn’t give a fuck what the bible says, got anything else? For example how do you know what this deity is telling you is in fact moral? You either can differentiate between moral turpitude or rectitude, or you cannot, if you can’t then you’re no better than a moral automaton, a “good Nazis” can blindly follow rules, if you can why do you need the divine diktat? The truth is these are rantings and ravings of bronze and iron age patriarchal Bedouin societies, why would I give a fuck what they think.
You really ought to read that fucking bible, as the deity depicted makes a bet with Satan, and they take turns to torture and torment Job to test his faith. Murdering his children as well by the way, tell us again why aborting a pregnancy and evacuating an insentient clump of cells is wrong?
So your deity’s morals are not perfect then, this is going to be news to a lot of theists, you reason like a child in Sunday school. The fact those morals so accurately reflect the people’s ignorance superstition and cultural attitudes of the epoch from which it came has a pretty obvious inference, try actually thinking for yourself and see if you can work out what it is?
A perfectly moral deity that changes it’s morals? Also it is not, Jesus is quoted in the Gospels as saying he intended not one iota of OT law is to be set aside or go unfulfilled, try again. You really need to read the fucking bible.
Not to most Christians, but that’s not saying much.
The increase of atheism of course has a number of causes, but education is the single biggest factor, it’s hardly surprising that unevidenced superstition comes off second best to science and education, in fact in the US among youngsters one of the single biggest factors for losing one’s faith is higher education, moving away from the yoke and pressure of family, and societal pressures to conform, and learning usually for the first time, to think critically and for themselves. Did you know among elite scientific bodies in the US atheism mirrors theism in the general public? The more educated and intelligent the lower the rate of theistic belief. It is a well demonstrated trend in decades of research.
I’ll bet their plans don’t in any way reflect the BS conspiracy theory you’re about to peddle. The exploding human population is the largest catastrophe facing us, so yes it makes sense to try and tackle that before we destroy the planet.
LMAO, superstitious BS, there is a scientific theory that explain how germs and viruses and diseases spread. Oh I forgot in @NagaMorningstar world scientific theories don’t explain anything. ![]()
Good it makes perfect sense to try and control the spread of a deadly pandemic.
Nope, the story makes perfect sense if you even bothered to read your own link, since the people overseeing nationwide vaccination initiatives in developing countries, keeping track of who had which vaccination and when can be a tough task. So why not design a way to accurately keep track, this will save lives, it’s odd you can get bent out of shape at initiatives to control population, including aborting an insentient blastocyst, but decry initiatives to save sentient human beings.
Unfortunately, there will always be wars, famine and plague. That is the human condition.
@NagaMorningstar Do you understand that from post number one you have not supported any of your assertions? At best you reference web sites such as this “Science Alert” that are pure Qanon territory. Just like you they pose as if they are informed, then proceed to spew out unfounded claim after claim after lie after lie.
No it is a legit science news website. Here are other sites that maybe you won’t associate with whatever paranoid conspiracy theory about conspiracy theories you might have:
