There’s reporting today that Musk got taken to the woodshed in a cabinet meeting. It seems that government officials have figured out they’re supposed to be running their departments, and objected to Musk deciding what gets cut, and how fast, etc. Trump reduced Musk to a pure advisory role and made it clear that his cabinet officers make the actual decision as to what to cut or not, and when.
Musk was said to not be thrilled with this development. Publicly, afterwards, he said the meeting was “productive”, lol.
