There is a difference between autism and Down syndrome.
I am disabled with autism, yet I’ve managed to become a paramedic, a certified cardiovascular technician, and I just became a licensed registered nurse, and graduated nursing school as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
I am also a published writer.
Down sydrome happens from an extra chromosome. I believe it’s technically called Trisomy 21, but I could be wrong.
Please don’t tell me about “rejoicing in my gift” unless you are autistic or have a family member who is autistic.
Autism is lonely and miserable most of the time.

If God (or gods?) created the fine tuning, then who created God? If God has always existed, then why not skip a step and claim that the Universe has always existed?
Besides, we don’t have any other examples of Universes with different laws to experiment with (or in?).
For all we know, a completely different and bizarre form of life may exist in a universe with different physical laws.
If we have a universe where the First Law of Thermodynamics doesn’t apply, then a living being may exist without eating or ingesting anything.
My point is that we probably shouldn’t make assumptions about life in other universes with different physical laws when we don’t have anything to observe and/or experiment on.
Instead of saying our Universe is fine-tuned to permit life, we should say “We reserve judgment until we have more data.”

Saudi Arabia, for instance, has legally equated atheism with terrorism. Now there’s folks that know how to deal with us in the here and now!
Contact your legislators and pitch such an idea. What the heck; see what reaction you get. It can’t sound crazier than this hell place, can it?

I honestly thought this guy not only drank the kool-aid, but was doing drugs for recreational purposes as well.
Hard to tell how much of his ignorance was willful, and how much down to indoctrination into religious cultism. One thing was obvious, he was an unpleasant and ill-informed apologist, by any standard.

Agreed. Most Theists are on here. They don’t care about evidence to prove their god thing at all. They just come on here spreading their beliefs like it’s an infection.
