Why is it only okay for Christians?

I have in the past. I know not to do it. It’s just knowing there’s a high probability they’ll do it. I had this huge feud with this youth pastor because my mother made me attend her church and I got sick of listening to his bullshit. It got so bad he ran to his boss and they told my mother that I was no longer welcome there if I was going to disturb the peace. I wanted to get kicked out so mom could not make me go.

I bet that felt good didn’t it Rick? You don’t like it when you’re on the receiving end. You love playing the victim. Dont come on here and fucking lie. Out in the real world you fucks are persecuting everyone. You’re a hypocrite. :kissing_heart:

YOU WIN!

On the other hand, Church Bingo is a whole lot of fun.

I think Rich likes to come on here and get bitched at so he can feel like his Christ. He sets it up and baits people while playing the victim. He likes to sell the whole “The Christians are the real victims”. No. Wrong. They go out and bother everyone trying to spread their bullshit religion. Then they act like your against them when you don’t accept their stupid religion. To me Richey is everything I hate about Christians. He displays it wonderfully. A lying hypocritical fuck. That’s what I think of him and his die hard buddies. It’s okay for him to persecute and want to bring salvation to others like he goes on about. But when we say anything he whines and throws a fit. Boo hooo for you. Go cry more. That’s a load of horse shit and he knows it.

Heeeeey…… Good point! And who could possibly get upset when somebody in a church jumps up and yells, “BINGO!”? :joy::joy::joy:

How, exactly, are they “infringing upon YOUR 1st Amend Rights” by exercising their 1st Amend Rights? If they are making public announcements and say something you do not like, you are well within your rights to either ignore them, or offer a counter to their remarks. If an individual (or group) approaches you on the street asking to discuss their personal beliefs, you are well within your rights to either walk away, or engage them in that discussion. It’s just that simple. Once again, THEIR rights are one in the same as YOUR rights. Cannot take away from them without taking away from you. It is almost as if you are saying, “They shouldn’t be allowed to preach in public, but I should be allowed to call them ignorant idiot assholes if they do.” Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.

Seriously? Exactly how the hell are YOU suppose to play Bingo? Bird beak… No lips, remember? Even if you somehow manage to win, nobody will be able to understand what you are saying when you stand up and screech, “Eengo!” Just trying to save you the embarrassment, you ungrateful feather duster.

Something tells me that this bird is not going to have any problem dropping little spots on a bingo card from 300 yards straight up. Tin, you just aren’t thinking. Have you had your morning coffee yet?

What about my child indoctrination when my parents shoved the religion down my throat and forced me to go to church and take part in their religion? What about the threats about hell that they made to get me to believe in it? They didn’t let me have a choice. What about the rules and censorship of their church? I wasn’t allowed to watch certain things or listen to rock because those things were “evil”.

I ended up rebelling between the age of 18 and 21 and coming out about me being an atheist. I was ostracized by my parents, I had to move in with my grandmother. I’ve had to fight every Christian that I was involved with to break free who were friends with my parents. I was treated like shit and asked to sit somewhere else in a restaurant when I was eating dinner with one of my mom’s friends, they invited me for a family dinner. Religion got brought up and I said I was a non believer, they were really big on “god”, her friend didn’t like the sound of me being an Atheist, I could tell she looked very agitated. She said she didn’t want to deal with it and I needed to go sit somewhere else and that’s the last they ever spoke to me. I feel like I was stripped of those rights for a long time by people who had no right to do what they did to me.

Even my ex wife later on in the marriage and her family forced Christianity on me because they decided they didn’t like that I was an atheist. She knew that I was an Atheist when she got with me and said it wouldn’t be a problem. Then she finds religion after we have kids and wanted to be a godly woman. That I needed to change.

Just because I didn’t partake in their religion they treated me like I was a bad person. Friends and women that I dated who were religious eventually turned on me in the name of Christianity. I know I was treated like shit when I came out as an Atheist. I wonder what Richeydale thinks of that. Peaceful? Why fuck no.

Can see where I’m coming from at least?

Richeydale67, help me understand exactly, with data (examples and frequency), how you are being persecuted for being xtian.

END OF DISCUSSION

They have their right to raise their child any way they want, unless the state can prove abuse. Religion, for the most part, is a protected activity. Children have the freedom to grow up and say bullshit.

Yout ex wife and her family forced NOTHING on you. They expressed their opinions and you expressed yours. A mind changed agaist its will is of the same opinion still. How do you force someone to change their mind, and it obviously did not work with you. All you have said is that you were inconvenienced by the religios people around you and you don’t like it. Oh well! They don’t like your Atheism. So what?

       Are you a bad person? If not, screw them.

Do you know what “Individuation” is? You sound as if you are completely ‘enmeshed’ in this bullshit family structure. Enmeshed to a degree that you have not ‘individuated.’ ‘Why would you hate a rock?’
The rock is just there. It has no effect on you at all until you pick it up and start bashing yourself in the head with it. You have a rock in your path and you keep bashing your toe against it. Instead of walking around it, moving it aside, hopping over it, you keep walking down the same path and bashing your toe on the same rock. Why waste your time.

All anger is about wanting something that you can not have. Getting angry at the rock is not working.
Have you noticed?

I WANT TO ADD:
If I thought for a moment a child was being abused by a religious cult or overly religious parents. If I noticed the child was malnourished, not being taken to the doctor, not dressed appropriately for the weather, or had marks or bruises on them, I would be on the phone with Child Protective Services in an instant. There are lines that need not be crossed. These lines are pretty clear. Unfortunately, they protect religious freedoms. They also protect your freedom to raise your child.

Your usage of the term Xtian is religious persecution.

Thank you for your persecution. It strengthens my love for God .

Stop it. I have a kidney stone acting up and laughing this hard is somewhat painful…
