We seem to be entering an age where all manner of illegality and abject nastiness from the highest level politicians (and their staff and cronies) is becoming the norm, and perhaps an eventual banality.
Something like Watergate now seems quaint by comparison, eh?

Orange’s bright idea about a Gaza under U.S. control and the forced relocation of an entire demographic into countries that don’t want them has seemed to have begun a stoppage of the kind words Anglosphere leaders initially had for him.
And it’s only 20 days into his tenure.
His history of haphazard geopolitical interventions and a bizarre appetite for disruption for its own sake may sink America into ideological isolation that will take more than one subsequent POTUS term to unravel.

That one is worrying. Federal judges are enjoining some of his attempts, but I’m not sure that will last once it gets up to the Supreme Court.
She’s of the “hard prosperity gospel” persuasion. In contrast to, say, Joel Osteen, who would be “soft prosperity gospel”. Softies will say that godly living tends to set you up for personal success. Hardies will say that personal wealth and power are the evidence of godly living (and of course, penury or misfortune is proof of your godlessness). By this formulation, Paula believes she is right with God.
I read today that Shitler saw one of her sermons years ago and reached out to her … to the extent the man has religious beliefs, this is the only kind that would resonate with him – something that reinforces his sense. of entitlement and rightness and demands nothing of him that he doesn’t understand.
It doesn’t even need to get up to SCOTUS. He’s simply ignoring the rulings, revealing that the courts are paper tigers. Laws are enforced by law enforcement agencies that he controls and that he’s already purged. Laws are made by Congress, where the GOP has already ceded the power of the purse, happily allowing Trump to countermand their own previous spending determinations, and the Dems are all over the place from complicit to in denial to not having it. Overall, way too little, way too late.
The rule of law is already dead. It probably has been a “dead man walking” for a long time anyway.

IMO, we’re in a full-blown constitutional crisis in this country and if drastic steps aren’t taken soon, it won’t end well. I don’t think the current Democratic leadership has the resolve to do anything about it.
