Wanna help debunk?

This is a video of the Mandela effect taking place on video. I want to know what yall think is happening because im not really sure how you would edit something like this.

The video repeats clips a couple times so just skip.

Okay.I feel that I’m not getting responses on this thread.Because I may have presented evidence of something and no one wants to touch. If that’s not the case please help me debunk this cause I don’t think it’s real.

Could it be that so far, folks haven’t responded because they’re just not interested?

Two, not even sure what is being debunked or why.

So the claim is that the Mandela effect is real and that this is video evidence. A lot of people really think this relates to some strange conspiracy theories and except this as real evidence to operation highjump and some other crazy stuff.

Why would I care what a “lot of people think”?

It’s accept, not except, and again if it’s crazy why would I bother to try and debunk it?

That may be the question of this age we’re in … maybe Hitchens needs a little elaboration. Not just “that which is presented without evidence can be dismissed” but “that which is insane can be ignored”. Just clicking on a video about something bonkers only encourages the nutter behind the video.

If we tried to respond to all the horseshit in the world we’d just choke on it.

I suppose that this makes sense but I will say this is a pretty convincing video that has become a reason for the average alt right “nazi” conspiracy theorist to push their agenda. But I understand letting crazy speak into the void and fading it’s just this is quite compelling.

Sometimes people misremember details. Surely everyone has experienced this.

I agree but also suggest watching the video because it is quite uncanny how it looks real.

And sometimes these mistake are socially reinforced… for examply, “Luke, I am your father” was commonly held belief of a line said in star wars, yet its false.
But if enough people say likewise (perhaps with a dash of confirmation bias), its easy to see how this can carry on over time.

Only the order, the Luke comes earlier in the dialogue, but DV does say “No, I am your father” 1:08 :sunglasses:
