Trump's impeachment trial to proceed

Then why do you repeat your vapid mantra “echo chamber” everytime someone expresses an opinion you don’t like?

Grow up, and offer something of value, instead of your Trumpesque ad hominem.

By expressing an opinion you don’t like, more irony. You just sound more and more threatened everytime you try to emulate your bullying orange idol.

And you still lost, try being a man about it.

By asking you to actually express a grown up opinion instead of your meaningless Trump mantra, which really is an attempt to close down opinions you don’t like.

Let me educate you a little, offering an opinion that you don’t like is not “closing you down” you clown, but repeatedly ignoring facts people post with vapid rhetoric about echo chambers is…

Grow up, go back, read what people have posted, and offer something intelligent if you can, or fuck off and have a good cry because Trumpeteers can’t take it when democracy doesn’t give them what they want. I’m easy either way.

Here’s your asinine attempt to close the opinions of others down, and my response, why don’t you see if you can offer anything approaching a mature cogent response, and see if you can try to avoid living up to the stereotypical Trump supporter.

Now is that a reasonable rational response to people who happen not to share your political views?

It’s what Trump did everytime he was confronted with facts that contradicted his agenda, shouted fake news at them. Then of course whined about censorship, truly one of life’s astonishing ironies.

If something is truly incorrect then demonstrate that fact with evidence and rational argument, we don’t take this kind of rhetoric from theists, why would we set a different standard for Trump supporters?

Biden supporters? He won 81,283,098 votes, or 51.3 percent of the votes cast. AND 306 Electoral College votes…

Trump got 74,222,958 votes, or 46.8 percent of the votes cast.

Oh and that “landslide” Electoral College vote in 2016 (Trump won electoral college votes (306) BUT lost the popular vote).

Maybe you should start watching some news.

That’s two elections in succession where Trump has lost the popular vote.

As you correctly point out, this time Trump lost both the electoral vote, and the popular vote, as it was Biden who had over 80 million votes.

Though of course @mr.macabre was using an argumentum ad populum fallacy anyway, as the number of supporters Trump has, has no bearing on the posts that he was responding to.

You have to see the irony…

There may have been once. The last figure I’ve seen quoted by US press is that Trump has a core following of 20 million.

Not that I care you understand. I’m just an ignorant foreigner and simply make observations. My observation is that trump is toast. I don’t expect his impeachment trial to produce a guilty verdict.

He may go on to say start his own TV channel, and run again in 2025. That’s fine. From what I’ve heard, it’s unlikely he will again get the Republican nomination for president. In that case he may run as an independent, splitting the vote.

Of course I’m assuming he doesn’t have to face civil charges, beginning with sexual assault.

I most admit the attack on the capital appalled me. I couldn’t give flying woolly fuck how unhappy/angry those dropkicks were. What they did was insurrection aka Treason, and Trump DID incite them. That makes him also guilty of treason.

Lol… What concerns me is the large number of people who believe in conspiracy theories. I think it is highly probable that something like another pizza gate, capitol riots, or Michigan governor attempted kidnapping will happen again.

It is hard for me to be sympathetic with people who complain about de-platforming/cancel culture; considering I can’t count the number of times Atheist Republic/Armin Navabi has been de-platformed.

Why do you clowns on the left take political opinions that don’t match-up with yours so personally? You can have any opinion on any subject you want, I don’t fucking care. Just don’t expect me or anyone else to have to listen to you rant and rave about what a criminal Trump is or was, all of this bullshit is just the democrats trying to get even for not putting up with them. It is truly sickening to see how different the media is treating that senile, corrupt, racist piece of shit and his partner" heels-up harris". As a country, we are all truly fucked.

I’m done with politics, all it does is make me angry and my depression worse than it already is. The SJW and BLM libtards can have these “discussions” all to yourselves.

There’s that fucking echo again.

I agree, I’m getting a rare first hand insight into how closed minded Trump supporters can be with @mr.macabre’s rather childish ad hominem attempts to bully anyone who dares express an opinion on Trump he doesn’t like.

You’ve already received a warning about sexist comments.

And the irony seems completely lost.

Unlike Trump, Harris sex life has never involved pay offs to prostitutes, or had her accused of assault.

How dare you threaten to censor him.

I know right, it’s as if we think we have a right to express personal.political opinions…

:smirk::roll_eyes:

You seem to be particularly annoyed when we express our opinions, are you sure?

Why do you think that’s an expectation we hold? Feel free to refrain from reading my opinions on the criminal traitor Trump if you can’t take others exercising their right to free speech.

Are you sure you don’t care about others expressing their opinions?

Yes you do seem very agitated, why is that? I mean it’s unrealistic to expect your own way in all elections in a democracy.

Yes, best to leave it to those mature enough to discuss it without resorting to angry ad hominem.

See I’m confused again now, are we allowed freedom of expression or not?

You seem to be taking this quite personally. I am a moderate and a former republican. What amazed me is how many things Trump did that any Republican 20 years ago would have been dismayed at. He said John McCain, who was a prisoner of war, captured in battle was “not a hero” because he was captured. I guarantee you that is one of the reasons Arizona turned blue. When Xi Jinping became president for life trump said “I think it’s great”. He constantly was tweeting and retweeting silly conspiracy theories like Matt Scarborough from MSNBC is a murder. He would call anybody in government that disagreed with him “deep state”, and replace that person with a loyalist like Stalin would do; even other Republicans. This doesn’t even take into account all the stupid things he did, like recommending to people to inject bleach, bragging about passing a dementia test, and saying that Gorge Washing took over an airport from the British. He constantly insulted people on twitter using vulgar terms. I live in Texas, and know a number of Republicans who left the party, voted for Biden, or left the option for president blank.

Do you realize this is the first year that the Republican party had no platform? On their website it is just Trump and American First. This was a big sticking point with some of my former Republican friends. There are no concrete issues anymore, just what Trump thinks. Most Republicans like Rubio were fine with $2000 checks when Trump wanted it, but now Biden does, they don’t seem to want it anymore. I think a more targeted approach is better myself. I don’t need that money.

I don’t love Biden, but Trump and what he did to the Republican party was objectively terrible, and just saying Democrats are just as bad is a false comparison. Clearly, you are raving just as much as any far left Antifa person. I have not heard a single stupid tweet out of Biden since he started. He hasn’t insulted our veterans or praised dictators. Do I agree with everything that Biden is doing? No. Would you agree with Biden if he did any of the things Trump did I mentioned above? I sure wouldn’t.

Didn’t he call him a loser? I seem to remember something like that, he said he doesn’t talk to losers.

Yes, here’s a video of trump calling him a loser.

It’s a deeply worrying trend, to see politics so dominated by spiteful rhetoric. The GOP have 4 years to rebuild and find their voice again, but they really need to recapture their party from vile lunatics like Marjorie Taylor Greene. It’s hard to say how much damage Trump’s behaviour has caused them, but there is a lot of work to do from here.

Is this a reference to her “getting some”???

Funny  you jealous she doesn’t need a little blue pill? Or that she’s as sexy as fuck and should be rockin’ it???

Exactly.

Right now - Biden ain’t Alberta’s favorite. What fucking politician is? BUT seeing tRump for who is is (a grifting scam artist - incompetent narcissistic boss-man) doesn’t make a person an automatic “Libtard”.

I don’t think @mr.macabre knows policy from a fucking hole in the ground :hole: he just “knows” rhetoric and hate.

That’s right, he actually said something worse…

Agreed. The fact that they would censure the 10 republicans who voted against trump, but not marjorie, who chased down and harassed a parkland shooting victim because of her crazed conspiracy theories. It is scary that they are now acting like trump by punishing those who speak out against him and want to replace them with even more trumpian people.
