Some Thoughts on Those Lysantras
Foremost, realize the term “Lysantra” is used in place of the entire definition, “that Thing you theists reference as God.” For none have proven that thing is actually a god. Let alone proving IT exists. Additionally, the term “IT” is not derogative. Rather it is a placeholder for whatever “IT” is referencing. Thus, I shall use my god-thing, Lysantra.
Additionally, when you theists do define your Lysantra, you are describing something to which the s/he thing does not apply. The only pronoun left is IT. A thing. Only to bisexual living things does that s/he thing apply. That is My bestest “scientific” Point of View (PoV). Besides, the typing thing is 9 characters versus 39.
I have been having an interesting diatribe with Frank Turek and his cronies at crossexamined.org.
I asked Frank Turek himself to give me a list of “single-word” attributes for his “god”. Same list that has been going around for about 4 decades now. He gave me a list of eight.
Before I give Their list, for it is probably a crossexamined.org approved thing, I shall list what I have come to call THE Absolutes of Existence Itself. Please realize, “Thing” and “Things” are placeholders for whatever you want them to be. Furthermore, there are other Absolutes, but I only need the below. Also notice not ordered.
• Everything Changes. No Thing remains the same.
• The END comes for ALL. In humanese, All Living Things Die.
• Within Order, there is chaos. Within Chaos, there is order.
• No two different Things are exactly alike.
• No Thing can occupy two different spaces at the same NOW.
• No two different Things can occupy the same space at the same NOW.
The Theists’ “Lysantra” Attributes
- Omnipotent
- Omniscient
- Omnipresent
- Omnibenevolent
- Spaceless
- Timeless
- Immaterial
- Outside the Universe
Now I shall comment.
• Everything Changes. No Thing remains the same.
This IS kind-of obvious. Just like your nose. If anything can be said to be ABSOLUTE as the theists mean, it is Change. Nothing, or no Thing, remains the same. No matter the Time unit you wish to use. Some Things are blindingly fast. Others are blindingly slow. Everything Changes.
• The END comes for ALL. In humanese, All Living Things Die.
Another like above. So obvious, how can you deny it is an Absolute. This is also the official definition for “nihilist”. Some theists’ definitions I have read for nihilism, I can only ask, “What were you smoking when you thought that?” A Nihilist accepts the FACT (Formal Accurately Codified Truth) that the END DOES come for ALL. Atheists, as labeled, can also easily understand this Absolute. Only those that utilize Emotional Thinking actually fear the finality of nihilism.
• Within Order, there is chaos. Within Chaos, there is order.
These are hand-in-hand BFFs. They cannot be separated. It is also known as the Dichotomy of Existence: “Cannot HAVE without also NOT HAVE.” You know, the Love ↔ Hate, Light ↔ Darkness, Life ↔ Death, etc., et al., things. Also remember this includes ALL the infinite Tweeners.
• No two Things are exactly alike.
Identical Twins? Fingerprints. [Kewl. Three words, two statements.]
• No Thing can occupy two different spaces at the same NOW.
Can You be both Here and There at the same NOW?
• No two different Things can occupy the same space at the same NOW.
Obvious. Kind of precludes omnipresence.
Their List.
1) Omnipotent
ALL-Powerful. Absolute Power. However, all Things have limits. “Limitless” does not exist in Reality, except as an abstract thought within our miscreant minds. Absolute Power does not exist in Reality. Else, such could make a contradiction true. Since contradictions, by their very nature, cannot exist, Absolute Power does not exist. Easy Peasy.
2) Omniscient
ALL-Knowing. Cannot unknow anything. Hmm… I would not like that. Some things I do wish to forget. And if ALL-Knowing, then have your god tell you explicitly and extemporaneously what shall occur on 08 Oct 2026, 1000-1400hrs. AND, All details must be specific. Otherwise, You do not speak to any god-thing, nor does Your god-thing speak to you. YOU are speaking to YOU inside your mind. All persons have what I call The Three of Me. Me, Myself, and I. How do you honestly Think You make decisions? You talk between your selfs. I define mine as Myself you never want to truly meet. He is a complete arse. I is the intellectual one. And Me just mediates. IT is all within your mind. You simply pawn off the other two as being Your Lysantra. There are as many Lysantras as there are humans alive. That now makes over 8 Billion Lysantras. Shall cover further with Principles of Probability later.
3) Omnipresent
Well… Since two different things cannot occupy the same space, IT definitely ain’t omnipresent.
4) Omnibenevolent
Only need three words to utterly debunk: “Cancer in children?”
5) Spaceless
Incorrect Postulation. All things that exist occupy space, regardless of the Where.
6) Timeless
Incorrect Postulation. “Everything Changes.” Thus, IT transitions through Time. Again, regardless of the Where.
7) Immaterial
Incorrect Postulation. All things that exist are composed of material, regardless of how Weird.
8) Outside the Universe
Best for last. Ready? How can IT be omnipresent inside the universe? This is an XOR.
It seems to me that Reality itself cannot exist without Flaw. To live is to accept living with Flaw. Perfection may as well be said to be Impossible.
Principles of Probability
A thing theists understand only enough to know they can never use the correct method. If you need a refresh, or quick study, focus on just the two main methods of Additive and Multiplicative.
Theists always use only the Additive. It is the only Probability method that can seemingly make their claims appear true.
Example of Additive: Each has 10% chance. Start with 0, then 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, …, not long before 100% “certainty”.
Theists forget that each attribute they “addenda” to their Lysantras, it is a Factor. “Factor” auto-implies multiplication. What happens to numbers [0 < N < 1] when multiplied?
Now, re-think those 8 attributes. Apply a probability factor, and fully explain how you derived that probability factor. All should be quite small. Else, you are still allowing someone else to continue to control Your thinking.
And when those probability factors are multiplied, even infinitesimally smaller.
That is why theists are taught, or learn, to avoid the Multiplicative Method.
Another Brain Fart
Look at the methods this way:
- Additive can only answer “How much?”
- Only Multiplicative can answer “How likely?”
Multiplicative can also answer “How much?”
Think.
The bestest summation for the Principles of Probability “I” can think of:
“If conditions are correct,
and IT is possible,
and enough chances are given,
IT is Inevitable.”
Thus, in a sense, the Emergence of Life was inevitable as long as correct conditions existed long enough for enough chances to be attempted.
Can you answer this question?
“In one second of Time, how many times has Life replicated the DNA molecule?”
4.1638 × 10 ^8,188,632,293,767?
And I am probably way off. How is that for pulling a number out me arse?
When you consider the entire gamut of human beliefs, the Principles of Probability literally dictate there shall be many, many similarities. So, what? Does not make them absolute. Those same principles also dictate there shall be just as many differences. Even diametrically opposed. No two persons have the same beliefs system. You may have to dig rather deeply to find that difference, but it is there. If “I” am to be said to have any beliefs, it is in Humanity as a whole.
And that also shows beliefs are Relative. Regardless of how well you may define your PoV, IT shall always be relative to the infinite others.
Religion is Relative. Just because you may believe IT true, never automatically makes it true for me. My lies shall never be the same as your lies.
