There are many more viewers than participants. And for that audience, be it dedicated atheists, those on the fence, or dedicated theists, many read the posts and form opinions and learn.
They not only learn the arguments for and against a deity, but how we conduct ourselves.

lmoa it works. I used to spank my cats and say NO! but that just made them mean and they would hiss at me. It is not a child. Then someone told me that all cats hate water and to use a spray bottle. They won’t hate you for it, but they will fear the spray bottle when you go to pick it up.

How you present yourself is all you can hope to effectively achieve.
I’m doing the best I can in relation to our grandkids. I do not want them to remember me like our kids do with my dad, he was a piece of shit. Our son and daughter remember him mostly for the times he yelled at them or treated them badly.
Unfortunately, I’m like him in a lot of ways, but I will never treat our grandkids the way he treated his.
