What are some good audiobooks for ex-theists doing their best to become critical thinkers. Thanks in advance.
It’s been linked before by myself (sorry guys) and I think @Cognostic put his bananas down long enough to discuss it :
Memoirs of Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, Volume 1
link to Wikipedia page about the book.
eta:
I was listening to the preface after I linked it and it has this great phrase that resonated more strongly with me after recent events:
Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
The purpose of the book is to document the middle part: going mad in herds.
