I’ve seen ones that big in the NYC subway.
My stepdaughter rented a nice apartment in Brooklyn that had a private fenced back yard. She naively assumed she could put some patio furniture out there and enjoy the ambience. The rats ate the upholstery in no time, then peed and crapped all over it. She never goes out there anymore and is looking for a cheaper apartment without that too-good-to-be-true “amenity”.
Amazing what having few natural predators can do for a population…

They get like this in pretty much all big cities. That’s why the cats in New York all carry guns…
