Besides being the worlds most narcissistic human being next to someone we know…besides his woefully tiny knowledge base…I read on the atlantic .com site, that folks have done a linguistic review of his speeches over time showing a reduction in linguistic sophistication over time…which meets diagnostic criteria for dementia. We all lose about 5% brain volume every decade, but his apparently may be a higher rate of decline. IMHO, I think he knows right now, that he won’t be able to run.

To doG,
Trump’s fitness was discussed on one of the US news services I frequent. And the suggestion was that, given Trump’s vanity and distrust of others, it would take a family member or group, possibly comprising Ivanka, the two sons, or even Jarrod, to talk with the old man and persuade him to relinquish the run for a second term. The hardest part might be convincing him to accept that he is in decline already. Would his vanity accept that? General opinion appears to insist that he won’t go quietly. If he is aware of his plight now, and concerned parties can convince him, we might expect an announcement in the next few weeks. There is always that constitutional measure for removing the president, if enough Republicans concede the situation.

If they didn’t do it to Reagan who was was almost completely doo lally by his second term, I cannot see them doing it to Trump who has not just his wife but son in law ready to become the puppet master.

Good point grin…considering he is a super hyper mega narcissist. Although, there is nothing greater than self recognition of your own status, by recognizing your own physical constraints. I mean, unless you are delusional as well.

“Tired of winning” yet?

I recently asked that of a former Trump supporter who was complaining about the current state of affairs in the US (the virus).

Their response: “fuck you”.

Have you ever noticed that when t-rump says “most people don’t know that” it actually means that he just learned that himself. LOL.

If god protecting them from this, that means he can protect from death too because its a bad thing too. why god didn’t protect any human for centuries till now from death ?

Because… it doesn’t exist (not in any form humans have described) - nature does. Nature works in cycles, and so do we. Birth, life and death.
Something’s going to take you out - I tell my boys, fuck, apparently the “perfect man” only lived to 33… something’s gonna get you, so don’t worry about it. We all fuckin’ die.
Personally, I want an interesting death - something that people will go “holy fuck!!! That’s how she died - ssshhhhhiiiitt!!!” I’m not particularly interested in dying in my sleep.

ONE thing you gotta give death credit for…its completely unbiased and doesn’t give a rats ass - baby with cancer, old bugger in his sleep, woman crossing the street, rich or poor, doesn’t fuckin’ care.

Not this little black duck thank you very much.

I want unexpected or just peaceful. Cargo container falls on me, or fatal stroke in my sleep, that kind of thing. :innocent:

Going like mum is probably more realistic; in care, DNR kicks in and I slip away in a morphine coma.

However, as Robbie Burns wrote “The best laid schemes of mice and men gang oft a-gley”

If you haven’t seen it I recommend the rather strange TV series 'Dead Like Me"

((((((((((((((((((((((((((90))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Dead Like Me is an American comedy-drama television series starring Ellen Muth and Mandy Patinkin as grim reapers who reside and work in Seattle, Washington. Filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, the show was created by Bryan Fuller for the Showtime cable network, where it ran for two seasons (200304). Fuller left the show five episodes into Season 1 because of creative differences; creative direction was taken over by executive producers John Masius and Stephen Godchaux. A direct-to-DVD film titled Dead Like Me: Life After Death was released on February 17, 2009,[1] with an option to restart the series.[2]

Eighteen-year-old Georgia “George” Lass (Ellen Muth) is the show’s protagonist and narrator. George dies early in the pilot episode and becomes one of the “undead”, a “grim reaper”. George soon learns that a reaper’s job is to remove the souls of people, preferably just before they die, and escort them until they move on into their afterlife. George’s death leaves behind her mother (Cynthia Stevenson) and the rest of her family at a point when her relationships with them were on shaky ground.

The show explores the experiences of a small team of such reapers, as well as the changes in George and her family as they deal with George’s death."

I second that. The series begins with George Lass being killed by a toilet seat that fell out of a disintegrating Russian space station. The series also features some amazing music, including “Hell” by the Squirrel Nut Zippers.

I tend to hope it’s neither a too painful or protracted death, but since life has a habit of ignoring what I hope for, I don’t waste any significant energy on such hopes.

NOW imagine being the “paddler” hahahahaha - calmly paddle toward shore and exit the water!

Fuck - see,
I love to surf :surfing_woman: when I get the chance -
THIS would be a great way to go and memorable for others to pass down as a story…

OR this… goddamn if my death gets on the news and they fuck it up this bad, make sure that name gets put on my Gazebo!!!

“These men were appointed, not on account of their qualifications for high administrative office, but because of their achievements within the Party, and in such appointments sufficient attention was by no means always paid to the suitability of a man’s character.
Since many Party functionaries attempted to copy Hitler’s ruthlessness in achieving their aims, political morals soon tumbled.”

“History is bunk” Henry Ford.

I have problems with discipline of history, but can’t think of a better way.

History was taught to me as a combination of dates and the deeds of great men.

I’m unconvinced that historical explanations and theories of change come close to describing the why of things.

I think change and history are continuums which involve everyone… Unfortunately, all we have is the deeds of notable people. There rest of us leave little or no trace and are forgotten within a few decades of our deaths.

The IT revolution provides us with a far broader canvas.

Scholars can only use what is available .

that’s sound funny and interesting wish of dying :joy: :joy:
you made me laugh a lot :joy:

I guess I want a similar wish too, like dying while singing my favourite song on stage and make my islamic community feel sick, because I was sinner to sing according to their belief and die singing that means am surely going to hell :joy:

The Christian admonition “forgive your enemies” also happens to be sound psychology.
Bitterness and resnentment can sour one’s entire life. It does not harm those who are hated/resented. Chances are they don’t even know. Better to let it go if you possibly can.
