I am a retired CPA / auditor, living in central Florida, USA, solid atheist, having explored several religions in the past, and finding their inconsistencies and hypocrisy. I am married to an evangelical christian woman, who has lost her ability to critically think, and decided to blindly follow the dictates of her pastor’s interpretation of a book written by goat herders many centuries ago. I find it very challenging the life day to day sharing space and time with a woman that refuses to think, believing that “her faith” is all she needs in the world. She also believes that I am going to hell, as a non believer that I am. Sometimes I find difficult to cope with this situation, but where can I go at 78 years of age?
