Your beautifully written post, exceptional command of the English language, it’s grammar and nuances of prose, are most welcome and a joy to read. In this day and age the increasingly horrid tendency to communicate via acronyms and abbreviations, most of which need specific dictionaries to decipher, decode and then defined, leaves me with a very sour taste and makes me weep for the future historians who will surely name our current era as that time when humanity gained a powerful leap of communicative ability, but lost the art and craft of intellectually gratifying writing.
Thank you for giving me hope that this art will not be completely forgotten and also, for not treating your reader as if they have the comprehensive level of a first grade elementary student.
