Why I Believe In God

That’s true, religious belief and religious apologetics seems to rely a lot on selection bias, if an argument or assertion fails, then they discard it and move on, but never ever acknowledge the failure has any significance. Like prayer, where only successes count as far as they are concerned.

Have you ever heard someone lament at some mishap and claim “well I should have known, they always come in 3’s”? Of course they have 2 other mishaps ready to prove their point, and then reset the clock to zero as if they haven’t noticed counting to three and then claiming three things have happened is meaningless.

Things will always happen in 3’s if you start again after every 3.
