I have religious friends like this, they will send me a link or a youtube video that they don’t really understand and then act like it’s somehow proof. Then when I question them on it, they do not understand that what they just brought me has the exact same problem as all the other stuff they brought me in the past that they don’t remember. Then they’ll forget about it and a few months later will send me something else with the exact same problems. I’m guessing forgetfulness is a good friend of cognitive dissonance.
