Why I Believe In God

@Whitefire13

I only got about a paragraph in. I stopped because I don’t know this bloke and couldn’t care less about his reasons for his personal superstitions.

Was reminded old a very old joke, I don’t know why.: Stranger in a restaurant ;" Do you mind if I smoke"
Correct response: “Mate, I don’t care if you burst into flames. Oh, you mean a cigarette, well yes I do mind.”

This new poster doesn’t actually have to justify anything as a general principle.None of us have that obligation**. What makes you think a person must answer a question just because he/she is asked? Of course that changes as soon as the speaker tries to persuade others to accept his/her point of view.

This bloke seems to need to justify his beliefs.I think he protests too much. Besides, I rooly, trooly don’t give a flying farnuncle why he believes the drivel he claims to believe.

Won’t waste my time with this one because he’s at least intellectually dishonest. That’s enough to dismiss him out of hand. Probably just as well.

When such fey folk start to ‘argue’ all they usually demonstrate is a wilful ignorance and industrial strength cognitive dissonance. One might just as well try to have reasoned discussion with a cabbage.Or Donald Trump .

**that right has force of law in my country and I think Canada. A person has a right to silence and is not obliged to incriminate himself.
