Did anyone here have problems getting on the forum lately? I couldn’t get in for over a week. It kept saying “connection timed out” 502 and bad gateway.

Yes Kevin, this forum has been down for 16+ days. I do not know the cause, I can only speculate it was a serious DDOS attack by angry theists.

Almost gave up. It’s nice to see everyone again 
. If this was an attack by theist then shame on them. It proves they have no decent arguments to convince people of their beliefs if the best they can do is try to silence people who don’t agree.
Oh, just as an aside, I think I have covid. It’s possible, maybe even likely, that it’s just the flu that’s been going around. I was tested for both and should know today or tomorrow. Yes, my job made me drag my sick, likely contagious ass, to a clinic to be tested. Anyway…nice to be back on the forum.

I once watched a video involving Matt Dilahunty where the theist caller bragged they had shut down an atheist chat site by overloading it.
Instead of engaging in an honest debate and providing a sufficient argument and evidence they just do this nonsense.

Yep me and She both tested positive but as we are considered “at risk” (immuno-compromised) we were prescribed the new antiviral drugs. Tested negative 5,6 and 7 days later. Minor symptoms and fatigue linger.
Sidenote: benefit of a socialised medical system? Price of 5 days of Antiviral? $1,150…cost to me $0.

Thanks. It is covid I’m afraid. I was hoping it was the flu. They were apparently getting a lot of cases of flu. The symptoms can be very similar. I am feeling better. If everything goes right I should be off quarantine Saturday. I don’t feel like doing much so at least that part is easy.
