I think I have heard this argument from the law of thermodynamics. Basically they were saying that God is adding more energy to the universe to keep it from winding down, and cooling off to nothing. How does one prove or disprove such a thing?
Its possible that the universe can loose energy and cool to nothing, but what happens then? I suppose it just stays cool
The weird thing is that theists don’t believe God is subject to such laws, is infinite in energy and power etc. The question is how could anything not be subject to any laws>
