Theist derision of science

Do you agree or not - is it appropriate to devises explanations for things in terms of other as-yet unexplained things?

If you answer YES then we are in agreement on this question of God being a rational possible explanation, if you answer NO you might as well throw all your science books and beliefs out the nearest window.

Well, Atheism is the disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of all deities.

And yet we are offered in return, ‘god did it’.

Bare faced lie. Instead, I pointed you to the article by Hertog himself, from which I quoted in detail, and quoted honestly. It was you who blew a fuse when you lied about this, and are continuing to lie.

Would you like me to speak to Herzog for you and share what he says here?

I’ve gone one better an E-Mailed him myself.

Stay tuned.

I don’t know what you mean. What unexplained things?

I made no such claim, so a straw man. You are setting a double standard where you posit a deity you can’t explain the origins of, while insisting not being able to explain the origins of the universe = god done it…a false dichotomy, an argumentum ad ignorantiam fallacy and a straw man there, kudos…

Trolltacular…you’re the one positing inexplicable magic from an unevidenced deity, champ.

Whataboutism, yet again.

And you’re back to ad hominem again, and science has objective applications in the real world, each time this is explained you circle onto another of your dogmatic mantras, but you’re still holding an empty bag.

I’m referring to the fact that science is an exercise in reductionism.

Bumpity bump, since you are still lying that your arguments for the deity you imagine is real are rational…

Look I don’t care for bitterness, invective and abuse, believe what you want, this is the last response you will get from me in the forum going forward. Either apologize for your rude and abusive attacks on my character and honesty and calling me a liar or you can piss in the wind, because I don’t have time for juvenility like this, it has no place in adult discourse.

…follows from the postulate a deity cannot be the cause of a deity.

Special pleading fallacy ahoy…

You mean like asking someone, “ Do you have one (a turd) in your cranium?”

To what do you attribute the “presence of a deity”, where did it come from?

Did @TheMagus ever get an answer to that?

Bumpity bumpity bump, of course those will go unanswered, I doubt that anyone is going to even feign surprise after these many months at this level of dishonest hypocrisy.

No, he completely ignored my last post. He can’t find a youtube video to refute it.

Or when he asked if he could call me an imbecile, odd he thinks we won’t remember, or notice the hypocrisy.

This is what you do with god. How can god exist because of god? Speaking your lingo, how can a non-natural thing be the source of a non-natural thing?

Hey, while your at it, why don’t you respond to the other post of mine? It’s getting hard to take you seriously…
