By the way, your 1% number is being challenged regularly. While we have not yet found life on another planet, the potential for life has grown exponentially in the past 10 years. It’s now estimated that, depending on how you define the habitable zone, 29 to 74 percent of all planets could be belatedly habitable. Our definition of ‘life’ has changed dramatically. Our ideas of ‘habitable’ have changed also. You are wallowing in ignorance of the universe around you.
