Life’s been a bit tough of late. My elderly mother has been very sick and had to have emergency surgery and is facing a second with, according to surgeon a 30-50% chance of death / heart attack / stroke during procedure. But mum wants it done. And as much as the odds scare the shit out of me, it’s her life and her call and I will support her choice. Life can be so cruel sometimes
.
Anyway, the tongues thing for me when I witnessed it made me want to laugh. I thought it was ridiculous and kind of a meaningless activity. Especially the dancing in the aisles element!!! It felt uncomfortable and very strange like these people were starved of self expression in a physical way and this allowed them to let loose. But having never experienced it personally or wanting to, I have wondered what the fork is REALLY going on?
