Well that’s a straw man, and they’re not mutually exclusive. The stats are derived from objective research. This is an old theists trick, of pretending that objective evidence is some sort of absolute, when it is not, nor have I ever claimed it is of course. In fact I have gone out of my way many times to explain this is not the case. The point is that statistics derived from objective scientific research is more compelling than unevidenced anecdotes, especially when they are overwhelmingly likely to be part of a delusion derived schizophrenia. If you have a problem with that then take it up with science, or produce some objective evidence that anything supernatural is even possible.
