Unsurprising in this country, sadly, but it still is terrible to imagine what that little man went through in his short miserable existence. I’ve parented two autistic children and have an autistic grandchild (although none as impaired than this one sounded like). What makes it even heavier for me is that I’ve seen how well they can thrive with the right MODERN supports and education and understanding. It is night and day. It may even be that this kid could have grown up to cure cancer, who knows.
