I understand the position of believers on abortion. They make the unfounded claim that a foetus is a person and is from conception.
I don’t understand the court’s logic. An abortion is a legal medical decision and procedure. (I’m assuming legality in this case) I’ve never heard of a court order unsealing other personal medical papers…
I’ll be interested in learning of the reaction of the AMA
PS: Genesis says life begins with the first breath. Genesis 2:7:" Then the Lord God formed a man[a] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (NIV)
I don’t know enough about the law to understand what sealed and unsealed and all that stuff means.
What I can tell you is: the medical records my wife generates for patients is left intentionally vague. Why? So when the courts demand the documents, they can’t be easily used against the patient. It is a weird form of the mantra: do no harm. It blew my mind when she told me; I thought it might blow yours too.
