I was going thru all the answers, and I find it hilarous that that person you are replying to (OP) is actually speaking in your favour
now the question is - Is English your first language? It proves you are a first year philosophy student!! as well.
His wording is so clear. How explicit can it be
The posts you’re replying to are 11 months old, and you haven’t even quoted anything for context, also why the duplicate response saying pretty much the same thing?
Infinity is apart of my belief and of course I know what agnostic means.
I was searching for posts related to infinity and came accross this. The first answer of yours is irrelavant and ridiculous bcoz the OP here is actually agreeing with u, he just extended his view with more possible answers.
Do you mean my post agreed with his OP? Only I don’t see how he could’ve been agreeing with me if my post came after? It was 11 months ago, so I can’t be sure, but re-reading it is still isn’t clear, which was my point at the time, it could read like he is suggesting a first uncaused cause is possible. Since he left without clarifying, then I guess we can’t be sure. If I made an error, then I can only apologise for the mistake.
Yes, read it again carefully, he actually agreed with you and then extended his view, instead you guys used objectionable words against him!
Pretty sure I just answered all that? It wasn’t clear to me at the time obviously, and he might just have clarified his position, either way not much I can do about it now, as I said. If he’d clarified, I’d have apologised at the time. Not sure what else there is to say.
by the way, I posted another thread here for the same issue, hope u can share ur view HERE
This post I’m making right now; is the first post in this thread I’ve made that is a reply to anyone. So your reference to me replying to someone earlier is very troubling to me.
I like the idea of space/time to be infinite in nature.
I always had the idea of changing properties, mass to energy, energy to mass, and perhaps something else in the mix. A cycle, like the water cycle or many other cycles in nature. (Water/ice, vapor, clouds, water again) Someone did a Mobius strip model of the universe, and I always found that captivating. Not that we actually repeat as in Buddhist reincarnation, but that the elements of the universe are just used and reused Ad Infinitum. (It begs the question, how open can an open universe be?)
