No problem, If we were both the same, one of us would be unnecessary. I have an aversion to the Jackass movies for the exact same reason. About half of all the shit they do, IMO, is worthy of being beat to a pulp. So, while in this instance, I don’t agree, I fully get your point.

I agree, it’s a rule of thumb that practical jokes are always funny when they’re on somebody else, but never funny when they’re played on you. I also agree they can be very cruel sometimes.
Though personally I don’t think this one qualifies as cruel.
Sadly there are always bullies wherever you work.

I guess I may be in the minority for not liking Rickey Gervais’ sardonic wit. Nor the grotesque*** character he invented for “The Office”
I also hate Raymond and his dysfunctional family. Think Jerry Seinfeld is as funny as cancer.

I don’t see where Norman Gunston needed the “trigger warning” at the beginning. There was certainly no “horror” there except maybe the nagging thought of what could be on his chin.

Possibly, I’m a huge fan tbh. Though initially I struggled with David Brent, as it reminded me too much of Some Mother’s do av em. Making fun of people who are inept treads a thin line, but I think Gervaise pulls it off in the office, by making Brent both annoyingly arrogant, but also human, and importantly not mean spirited at all. I admit I didn’t get it at first, but it’s grown on me exponentially.

I have grey banded solitary bees every year they nest ( well not nest) but build their egg safe, mud sealed, incubators in any large empty screw hole. Their favorite is my wall mounted hose reel. For 10 years now we have had their company. They buzz me when I roll out the hose but never a serious threat, in fact, last couple of years they just ignore me.
We also have leaf cutter bees(similar in appearance) who love chopping up my mandarin and lemon leaves for their larvae to feast upon.
No honey…but such nice creatures.
I get honey bees and bumble bees 
. Lots and lots. Rarely any wasps.
We get so many wasps. All natives (except the harmless paper wasp) are hunters of spiders and caterpillars that they cart off to their nests or build clay incubators on the walls and stuff with paralysed arachnids or caterpillars to snack on whilst growing. I’ve recorded at least 20 species here from Hornets about 5cm long to tiny black ichneumon wasps less than 2mm. None of them pay any attention to me, the only time I get attention is if I disturb the yellow and black wasps nesting sites. They live in colonies of up to 20 or so and can sting. Not the european wasps which are a pest here and are waged war on without mercy if you see them.
Seeing a 1cm black ichneumon take on a spider 3 times her size is amazing. Watching the black and yellows take off with dangling green caterpillars…awesome.
It took me 3 years to get a balance in the garden but now the pests are controlled (except the fucking slugs and bastard fucking fruitfly) by natural predators, who are also fascinating to watch.
That sounds terrific .I’m not familiar with the species. Have you ever come across native bees? Seems they have no stings.
About every eight years A hive forms in my wall cavity, same place. Have never been able to get an apiarist to move them. It is with great reluctance that I calla pest control company.
Don’t have a lot of choice; they find their way inside the house and sting me. My neighbour has complained that my bees have been stinging his kinds. Right now there is swarm in my pepper corn tree.
