I am convinced that gods don’t exist

Why would anyone be convinced of anything without evidence? You’re making no sense. Either a god exists or a god does not exist. These are opposite positions and a true dichotomy. They are both assertions. Evidence is required to create a valid and sound position if either position is asserted to be true. That is the way logic and reason work. It’s unfortunate, you don’t know that.

As are you, correct?

I think clarification of what you believe, and why, might help us all understand here, why you hold a belief for an extant deity, in the absence of any objective evidence.

How ironic and dishonest. This is a half ass attempt at shutting me down. What I find laughable is that you’re a Christian on an Atheist board telling an Atheist such as myself that they know nothing so you can continue going about and parroting unevidenced claims about a god that no on here believes in other than you. That is very low of you to do when I haven’t even begun debating with you. This is not a good look for you at all.

Are you trolling me? Seriously, I’m not that interesting!

No!

It might be more revealing to some and aggravating to others, but hands down, there will always those who hate the answer.

Aren’t we done with this troll yet?

Dismiss away…I seek not your approval!

“Courtesous” = polite, respectful, or [considerate]

Hmmmm … what am I missing here? Anyone else cringing?

Why did you clip the quote, I have added the emboldened part you omitted, and as anyone can see it’s not trolling as I quoted your post making the claim? Here it is again then:

Wrong answer, it is absurd to imagine evasion is more honest than clarity and frankness in a debate.

Nonsense, no one here will care which deity you imagine to exist, especially as you have already admitted you know of no objective evidence for any deity. They’d likely have thought better of you if you were honest and frank, and stated plainly which deity you believe exists, and why.

Not sure why you imagine I needed your approval to disbelieve your unevidenced assertions, or why you’d imagine I thought you were seeking my approval, but you’re mistaken on both counts, honest debate and the truth are all I ever want.

The rest of my post obviously, that you clipped again, I have underlined the part that added context, and this yet again seems to be a dishonest attempt to misrepresent what I said, by removing the context, in what I can only infer is another attempt to provoke a reaction. You are not debating honestly. Hell, you’re not debating at all. Every response is pure obfuscation, but yet you respond anyway. FWIW, I imagine many posters are cringing at this point, at your attempts to troll, like that gif, which is not fooling anyone, and will no more get a rise out of me than your other attempts.

What deity did you claim has “ordained everything that is written”? Why do you believe this, and why do you believe a deity exists? There is nothing discourteous in asking someone to explain and evidence their claims, least of all in a pubic debate forum.

If you think you can provoke me by being dishonestly evasive, then I can only assure you it will not happen, I have seen this tactic too many times to fall for it.

People who come on here, are dishonest, don’t respond intelligibly to simple questions, and actively avoid interactive reciprocation, make me cringe.

Understood!

I can’t enjoy it because I’m always looking behind the curtain.

It’s been enlightening.

Peace

I am convinced that God exists. I have heard from Jesus Himself literally. I have seen angels and interacted with demons literally. But God and the spiritual world is personal and when you say prove it. How do you want em to prove God exists. The bible land of Israel exists.

That’s nice. Can we hear the recording? Was he speaking English? How did you know it was Jesus and not the ‘Ruler of this world’ deceiving you?

How do we want you to demonstrate the existence of your god? Why not ask your god? How in the hell would we know what constitutes evidence for a god without first having the god thing identified? Define one of the qualities of your god and then demonstrate it. Why is that hard?

The Biblical land of Israel exists because that is the name of the land of a bunch of people who moved there and established a kingdom gave it.

Ok, I’m bowing out of responding to @Prycejosh1987 ‘s reply bombing on this site.

Delusion should receive only so much of the attention it craves, IMHO.

Is it just me or do all theists sound like trolls and/or just flat out crazy people? Hearing voices, seeing things, spouting off about the superiority of their gender.

Not all, just the crazy ones. But it’s the crazy ones that stand on soapboxes/streetcorners/stages (real ones or virtual) and shout out their crazy and deluded messages. The less crazy ones or the intelligent ones just keep their fantasies largely to themselves.

Oh really? Are you sure you weren’t under the influence of narcotics or marijuana when you started hearing voices?

Why?

I am dubious, you will have to offer something far more compelling than a bare claim, especially as I have seen people make this identical claim to have “experienced” other deities.

It’s you who is making endless claims, it is for you to demonstrate you have anything to support those claims beyond the claim itself. That said my criteria for credulity is that sufficient objective evidence be demonstrated to support all claims. So offer the best reason you think you have.
