Exactly. Different versions of God and other deities only exists in the minds of men, women, and children. I think that’s what religion is, just a mind fuck. All the magic tricks are projected in their minds. Theists spend most of their life trying to convincing themselves in the mirror, trying to argue their god into existence so they can continue to lie and convince themselves that it’s real. It’s only real in their mind, nothing more than that.

I didn’t know about this word “postdiction”, I always called it post-rationalisation. Well that is to be expected English is my second language. I don’t even know all the words of my native language

My first attempt at the post was directed towards “count the hits and ignore the misses”. But I decided to throw it all together under the banner of “postdiction”.
But your English is very adequate. Please excuse me if I sometimes use long words. Many years ago I set a goal of learning at least one new word each day.

I’m too curious, too diverse to limit myself to only learning new words. However I do learn something new every day.
I like to think that you cannot be born “stupid” you can only became stupid (and IMHO evil tog that matter) if you don’t honestly challenge and advance yourself, every day.
At least that is how I teach my kids! They are now in elementary school still, age 9 and 10. Both proud agnostic atheists. I’m joking, but not really, they are absolutely not indoctrinated by any means, if anything they are very well familiar with most of the bible fallacies. However there is now deep cultural influence resurfaced after end of communist/socialist era.
