A twinkie is a little sponge cake filled with a marshmallow cream filling. One recipe I found was for a cup cake with a marshmallow icing. Close enough The polly waffle with it’s marshmallow filling sounds yummy. The twinkie was out of production for awhile too, but it’s back.
