I think you’re talking about John Nash and the movie is a beautiful mind with russel Crowe. Great movie. I think dr. Nash ended up going on meds but I actually think he may have been experiencing something legit but maybe did lose his mind a bit. I’m not sure he hallucinated other people in real life but that was in the movie. I think it was more about seeing patterns in everything and like secret messages. Technically there can be spy codes in newspapers, that would’ve been one way for them to communicate but I was thinking he would’ve been seeing something higher than that, more divine, where the people writing the words might not even know the codes are in there like they were directed. Maybe like that world came came against him when he started figuring it out and it drove him crazy because they didn’t want him knowing or talking about it
