Atheist vs. Satanist

Odd… Because the Satanists I know don’t give a shit about a person’s skin color. Just keep watching your videos, though. You seem to have learned SO MUCH from them.

Glad you said it. Was beginning to wonder myself.

By the way, good to see you back out here, Cyber.

Um… I am really confused here. The KKK is a known Christian Organization. TST is anti-religion and worship nothing. They are their own god, free will and all that. I am not seeing the comparison at all.
I’m not seeing any similarities outside of a social group.

What we aught to be looking at is the most powerful religion in America. The Thin Blue Line (TTBL) Those fuckheads need to be reeled in.

Yes, that is what YOU saw, are you an expert because you saw two videos? Where is the body of proof for your interpretation, or are we just making hasty conclusions?

Again, inferring your interpretation as correct. You see this in every conspiracy theory video. There is no direct documented connection, just it SEEMS TO BE. Read Chariots of the Gods, everything in it SEEMS to be aliens. Yet never makes an actual claim with true verifiable evidence of aliens, just conjecture.

Show me actual proof of anyone in TST, police blotter, court cases, video evidence of actual racism being committed by an identified member, not “I didn’t see any black people in this video”

Edit: I will say though, I do approve of your skepticism. I’m very much a skeptic myself, I don’t fault you for questioning me or TST. I would appreciate being given a chance to speak before just being bombarded with taunts and jeers. Respectfully disagreeing with me, and making an honest effort to change my mind would probably illicit a better response. Just my $0.02

I know it’s hard and It took a while for me to get around it. At first glance, I really thought they were Satanists at first glance. I really believed they were a religion…at first. But now I realize they’re Anti-Religious Freedom Fighters.

I also realized that they’re Poetic Atheists who troll on Christians and take them to court and sue them for religious freedom when they break the law and allow religion in public school. Do we want Christianity in schools? I don’t and The Satanic Temple is doing something about it. So I would tell my fellow Atheists who are having a hard time struggling with this to let them fight the good fight.

AS long as they’re suing Christians and fighting for women’s rights so women can get abortions. Let’s cut them a break. Can we do that?

I think their cause is a good cause and one worth fighting for. Sometimes you have to fight dirty.

Sure. But I’m not 100% confident that this is their only motive. Here in my country we call that populism - doing and saying things that you know everybody want while having qute a different agenda and being a populist is just a meaning to get what you want with the help of the unsuspecting people. For the moment they fight against christianity but what if some day they succeed? Then what? There’s a high probability they’ll just fill the void left by christianity and take over, thus humanity will have just another religious oppression to fight against and history will repeat itself.

You want evidence? Here’s your evidence that TST is a religious organization and NOT an atheistic one:

On this video at its 32nd second, the anchor says “the satanists want to RALLY IN SUPPORT of the bill that would allow students to pray at school events”. I don’t know of any real atheist who would support such a bill allowing students to fart at school events.

Yes, I did write “FART at school events”, it’s not a typo!

They are religious group like the flying spaghetti monster people or the Church of Bacon are religious group. Basically in name only (so they can “qualify” as a religion).

eta: it is kind of tongue in cheek.

eta2:
For example, when I lived in Austin, TX; there was school district that was sending students to spend 1/2 of their Fridays every week at a church (the students got to choose the church). Lots of groups took (slow) legal actions. “Satanist” instead just demanded that their church be added to the list. The program ended the day the “Satanists” signed up for it. Instead of arguing how bad it was for the schools to be sending kids to churches, the “Satanists” demonstrated it by example.

Do you consider black metal fans to be Satanists? I’ve been to dozens of live shows over the last 40+ years, and there are people of all colors who are fans of this music. I’ve never seen anyone in a white hood at any of the shows.
I have seen black people both in the crowd and on the stage playing their asses off because they love what we do, the fucking music. There isn’t any violence or bad blood 99.9% of the time at a metal show, we’re a brotherhood of like minded people.
You need to watch the YouTube video from the GRIMM LIFE COLLECTIVE of their trip to the “black house” in Salem, MA. about a year ago.

But, they’re suing Christians and other religious bigots in court and fighting Anti-Abortion. They’re not forcing it down your throat like the Christians are. As for your argument about them taking over and being the next BIG BAD? We will simply have to cross that bridge when we get to it. I think their cause is good. Better than the Christians no doubt. No one had to tell me that. I had to figure that out for myself.

What about bowlers? They wear specific clothing, carry a weapon around with them, and are organized.

I do not see any blacks in this picture, that only confirms my paranoid conspiracy theory.

So you ignored me asking for evidence of racism and moved the goal post to this? Cool.

Also again, one video and evidence of what? If you actually listen to a TST member we encourage prayer from all religions and challenge places that only support one religions prayers over others and do not open the floor to ALL religions. Once again you seem to want to ignore everyone else’s views, and demand you are right. As I said, if you don’t understand it or like it, move on and you do you. I’m not asking for you to accept it or believe it, grow up.

EXACTLY THIS! I’ll gladly denounce TST if I see this happening. Until they betray my trust, and NOT before. @Valso

Just like some non-believers can’t get past their fear of hell, some can’t get past their fear of Satan.

I’m really really rooting for them to stop the bullshit; (Anti Choice, religious control, etc). As long as they continue to do those things. They have my support. The Christians have done ENOUGH and they don’t like it that a group of people are standing up to them telling them to stop.

For now. That’s what populist politicians do for as long as they’re not in power. The moment people put them in power, they quickly forget their promises to the people and start working for their agenda. You can be sure that it’s the same with TST. For the moment they’ll give you what you want but when the christian church joins Hercules in the myths, they’ll take over and it won’t be pleasant. Humanity will never be truly free until all religious symbols are thrown away, and that includes Satan too.

Beware the bowlers !!!

Don’t do it. That’s how they put Satan in your hart. One minute there you are lighting candles and praying to the Virgin Mary and the next you are laying on the floor doing unmentionable things to your body with a crucifix in the name of Lord Satan. Run away, run away! The Satanic Temple is evil. They have sex orgies, use drugs, eat babies, pose as a front for the KKK, use condoms against the wishes of the Pope, dye their hair strange colors, get tattoos, and hide among us. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Did you say orgies? I could use me some of that.

LOL… a real ‘PIE IN THE SKY’ attitude. Humanity is stupid, people may be smart. If it is not religion leading people by the nose, it will be donkeys and elephants. It will be flags with blue lines against coiled snakes. It will be peace signs and rainbows against the battle flag of the confederacy. Every imagining you will be free of symbols is delusional and there are beliefs out there that are every bit as harmful as religion. I would assert that any belief held so rigidly as to be perceived as 100% true, is probably just as damaging as religion.
