I don’t remember hearing the rule anywhere that says everyone gets to have a happy life. We do the best we can given our current situation. If it were up to me, I’d still be driving a truck and we’d still be living in our own home.
Being forced to retire and sell our home blew that all to hell, which is ironic since that’s where my family is convinced I’m going in the end.
