An average, everyday satanist?

Uh, hate to be the one to point out the obvious, Mr.Mac. (And I promise I’m not trying to be my usual smartass self when I say this.) But, just because something “works”, it does not necessarily mean it is good, beneficial, productive, or healthy. I have made many things/situations/relationships “work” during my life.

The things I made “work” were often meant to be functional only until a newer/safer replacement could be obtained.

Many times I have implemented special accomodations to alleviate as much “headache/discomfort” as possible in order to endure various situations and make them “work” for limited time periods.

And I have been in a few relationships that I believed were “working” at that time. Looking back at many of them, however, I know now one or both of us were only going above and beyond in making up excuses to convince ourselves our relationship was “working”. All the while, though, it was making us both miserable and forcing us to turn into something other than our true selves.

Just something to consider…
